Episode 15 - Saturday Morning Cartoons

This week, Caro and Peony go back to the days before streaming shows was the norm and getting up early on a Saturday didn't feel like torture! Peony discusses some history behind the start of Saturday morning cartoons, Caro reminisces about catchy theme songs, and both look back fondly on their favorite (and sometimes forbidden) cartoon-watching snacks. It's just sugar covered in more sugar, because that's what we wanted before we discovered caffeine. Ah, childhood.

  2. 12/13/2018

    Episode 10 - X-Men

It's our 10th episode! (Get it? 10? X?) Caro and Peony discuss the ever-relevant and ever-evolving storylines from the original X-Men team to today's school of misfits and superpowered rascals. But also, we need to talk about Cyclops's fashion choices. It's a problem.

  3. 11/30/2018

Episode 09 - Western Magical Girls

In Part 2 of our Magical Girls series, Peony and Caro talk about Western! We try to figure out what Winx and W.I.T.C.H. were all about, give Steven Universe a shout out and argue that defeating evil with kindness is pretty cool. And swords. Swords are always cool.

  4. 11/21/2018

    Episode 08 - Mahou Shoujo

Sparkles! Hearts! Friendship! Surprise Tragedy? Magical girl anime is full of all sorts of feelings and Caro and Peony are ready to talk about them all. ~*Would you like to make a contract?*~ (Spoilers - NO. But maybe?)

  5. 11/01/2018

    Episode 07 - Ace Attorney

Ah, that one game about lawyers. If there's any series that both Caro and Peony are passionate fangirls about, it's this one. We share cosplay stories, argue over ladders and stepladders, and declare our love for our video game attorney husbands with stars in our eyes.

  6. 10/25/2018

    Episode 06 - Halloween

What's up, witches! It's Peony and Caro's favorite time of the year! Vampire drinks from Starbucks, spooky decor at the craft store and some classic Halloween specials. Who expected Twitter to explode with so much sultry Venom fanart? Not Peony, definitely Caro.

  7. 10/18/2018

Episode 05 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

In this episode, we take a look at everyone's favorite 90's action girl, Buffy! Caro professes her love for the female savior genre and Peony is still not sure what's up with Dawn's entire existence. (When in doubt, a demon did it.)

  8. 09/22/2018

    Episode 03 - Marvel/MCU (Part 1)

In this episode, we discuss the beginnings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from a nostalgic point of view!(remember the trailer music from the first X-Men movie? We do. So 2000).

  9. 08/19/2018

    Episode 02 - Guilty Pleasures

In this episode of deep dark secrets, Caro vents about her love-hate relationship with The Mortal Instruments, while Peony declares her undying love of Riverdale and talks about Labyrinth. Again. Are guilty pleasures really a bad thing? Welcome to our TED Talk.

  10. 08/14/2018

    Episode 01 - DnD

Welcome the FIRST EPISODE of Generation Fangirl! Here we talk about a classic past time near and dear to all adventurers - Dungeons and Dragons! Caro yearns to be a real Tiefling and Peony gushes about magical swords in the forest
