    Ben Williams: former Royal Marines Commando, coach, author, speaker, and now tech entrepreneur, having founded Loopin. His story is both incredible and inspiring - he fell into drug addiction, seriously considering leaving this world behind. From this, he managed to beat 99.9% of people to get into the Royal Marines and serve his country. As you can imagine, he developed such strong leadership skills that he took away into life, parenting and founding his tech business.   We discuss it all! The highs, lows and unpredictability of the startup world vs those of being in an ACTUAL life or death situation (and which one he's more scared of!).     Lauren & Fran Calvert - One in: All in! Set Boundaries, understand yourself, and GO [#100!!]

    Welcome to PS episode 100!! Can’t believe we’re here at number 100!    FYI - 90% of podcasts don’t get past episode 3, and 1.8 million podcasts quit after episode 1!!   This is one of the best things I’ve done, and so happy to have these power house working girlies as my 100th episodes, so thank you so much ladies, it’s an honour ❤️   Today, we have Lauren and Fran Calvert, sisters, and both now working in senior badass roles at Marchon supplements.    Lauren is the Managing Director at Marchon supplements, Hyrox Competitor, Ex-CrossFit Athlete, Pug Lover, self-confessed NIL Balance, and she lives by: some women fear the fire, others become it 🔥 She’s also been on SAS who dares wins, and has a very impressive set of sporting achievements behind her, that she doesn’t even talk about to be honest, as there’s SO much else to say!  Fran - the younger sister - is Head of marketing at MARCHON, Ex-crossfit athlete absolutely smashing the rankings, Fitness industry leader, Lover of bread, wine and sport, and after much debate as to what SHE lives by, we settled on the sun, hair extensions & strava 🤣 And I’ll add one - leaving people better than how she found them.   This convo was fiery, inspiring and empowering. I love how NORMAL the girls come across, but with a very special and unique work ethic that I am also obvs a bit obsessed with. We discussed work… a lot! Working for someone else vs yourself, fitness, being a sister brand, overcoming hard things, and just finding what you’re good at. They’re real. They don’t sugar coat life and pretend it's all easy breezy, show you they’ve worked for it and they wanna leave everyone that bit better than they found you.    Well, honestly gals, you absolutely did that with me and I loved everything about this episode!     Guy is a man of many many talents and you cannot listen to this episode without learning an immense amount about yourself, your life, your career/business and how to uplevel it all.  Guy is the CEO of HSPG (where I also happen to be the MD!) - an impactful, innovative social housing real estate company supporting all angles of the UK homelessness crisis. Guy, together with his co-founder David, has driven HSPG to support over 10,000 people so far to live in safe, secure and most importantly, affordable homes. In addition to building the HSPG powerhouse, Guy has an additional depth and spiritual side that many don't see. He gives incredibly raw advice that I know will help you see life from a different perspective. We discuss meditation, gratitude, travel, training, mistakes, living with intention, blagging it, and so many other random points!!     Dr Frankie Jackson-Spence - What's NORMAL?? Periods, morning after pill, training & more... [#098]

    Dr Frankie is a NHS Junior Doctor, Media Medic and absolutely divine human, dedicating her career to researching cancer, conducting clinical trials within the treatment landscape, diving deep into our immune systems and if that wasn't enough.. she's also educating the masses on getting to know our bodies, demystifying our cycles and helping women to realise what's normal.. and what's not. Why do really healthy people get really awful cancers? How does our environment impact our genes? Why do we incessantly compare ourselves? How can we improve our immune system? Oh and what even IS the morning after pill? We cover it all 😊  PERIODS.. we go back to basics (and tbh, so many of these basics, we've never actually learned in school, gals!). Training during your period: maybe we don't just need to 'power through'...? SO. MANY.     Lauren White: From Rock Bottom to Sober.. Her journey so far...

    Lauren is a motivational speaker (I challenge you to be in her presence and NOT feel motivated by her insanely warm, supportive energy btw), Addiction Counsellor, and Founder of the Sober Collective (check it out on insta - @sober.collective), working with successful high achievers who struggle to break free from self sabotage and toxic behaviours.   We chatted about how a little girl from a very lovely upbringing and everything seemingly 'perfect' on the outside, experienced pain, feelings of deep failure and ended up on the wrong side of addiction.    She is now doing incredible things and building a sober community, which you can't help but feel a bit FOMO about if you're not in it!!
