    The Huskies won their first NCAA Tournament game since 2017 with a 72-54 win over South Dakota State. After falling behind 13-3 early, UW finished the half on a 35-11 surge to take the lead for good, powered by 30 points from Avery Howell.     The Huskies overcame a double-digit second half deficit to advance in the Big Ten Tournament with an 83-79 overtime victory against USC. Zoom Diallo had a double-double (22 points, 11 assists with 7 rebounds) as he, Hannes Steinbach and Quimari Peterson all played 43 minutes.     The Huskies advanced in their Big Ten Tournament opener, using big second and third quarters to eliminate USC 76-64.
