    "I will...but first..." Faith

    Why A Year Of Strengthening?

    In Part 2 of Vision Sunday, Pastor Luke builds on the foundation of strengthening by calling the church to prepare for growth. Drawing from Isaiah 54:1–3 (NLT), we are reminded that God’s promises often require us to make room before we see the increase. Before new people arrive, before new opportunities open, and before new seasons begin, God calls His people to enlarge their hearts, stretch their faith, and expand their capacity. This message challenges us to move from simply being strengthened to being ready - ready to welcome more people, ready to serve more effectively, and ready to steward what God is about to do. Vision Sunday Part 2 calls Gateway Church Cymru to step forward in faith, make room for others to encounter Jesus, and believe for the growth and impact God has promised as we move into A Year of Strengthening together.

    A Year Of Strengthening

    In Part 1 of Vision Sunday, Pastor Luke shares the heart and foundation for the year ahead at Gateway Church Cymru. Drawing from Ephesians 6:10 (CSB), we are reminded that real strength is not something we generate ourselves, but something we receive from the Lord. Before we talk about vision, growth, or what’s next, God calls His people to be strengthened by Him. This message explores what it means to be strengthened in three key ways: by His presence, as we learn to depend on God daily; by His Word, as Scripture shapes and anchors our lives; and by His people, as we are strengthened together in community. Vision Sunday Part 1 sets the spiritual foundation for A Year of Strengthening, calling us to rely on God’s vast strength as we move forward in faith, unity, and expectation for all He has promised.

    A Simple Start To 2026

    This message marks the beginning of 2026 at Gateway. In A Simple Start to 2026, Pastor Luke Morgan reflects on Jesus’ invitation to His disciples in Gospel of Mark 3:13 to 15. Before they were sent to preach or serve, Jesus first called them to be with Him. As a new year begins, this message brings us back to the heart of following Jesus. Not starting with effort or activity, but with presence. Not striving to do more, but choosing to draw closer. Whether you are exploring faith or have followed Jesus for many years, this message invites you to begin 2026 by being with Jesus and allowing everything else to flow from that place.

    This is Week Three of our Time To Grow series. In this message, Pastor Luke Morgan shares about producing. From Colossians 2:6-7 we see that when our roots grow down into Jesus and our lives are built on Him, the natural result is fruit. Healthy disciples don't just grow - they produce. Producing looks like serving others and stepping out to begin leading. These are the next steps on our church's journey: using the gifts God has placed within us and helping others grow in their walk with Jesus.

From Colossians 2:6-7 we see that just as we accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, we must continue to follow Him, letting our roots grow down into Him and our lives be built on Him. Growth continues as we root ourselves in Jesus and His Church. The next steps on our church's Next Steps journey are to Get Baptised and Belong Here - going public with our faith and becoming part of God's family.

From Colossians 2:6-7 we see that just as we accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, we must continue to follow Him, letting our roots grow down into Him and our lives be built on Him. Growth begins with planting our lives firmly in Jesus. The first steps on our church's Next Steps journey are to Discover Faith and Follow Jesus - choosing to believe in Him and walk with Him everyday.

    What Happens When God Does It?
