#382-"Our Dance Has Just Begun" - the Week of September 14, 2026

Fire and Air, Vision and Mind A brief note. These episodes are prerecorded during a road trip and wilderness journey. I am not tracking current events in real time. Hold what I offer here alongside what you are actually living. Two significant threads weave through this week, one vast and civilizational, one intimate and alchemical. And they are speaking the same language. At the civilizational level, Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius exactly, the second of eight contacts in a sub-series running mid-July 2026 through late February 2032. The elemental grammar of the current civilizational moment — fire and air, vision and mind, the imaginal and the collective intelligence — in living generative conversation. At the intimate level, Venus in Scorpio squares Pluto for the first time in the current retrograde cycle, the Relational Alchemist in direct confrontation with the Transformer. The first of three such squares through December. The macro and the micro asking for the same essential movement: genuine transformation rather than the management of surfaces. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, September 14: Sun in Virgo sextiles Mars in Cancer.  A grounding opening. Precise attention and embodied knowing in easy alignment. A reminder that vast civilizational movements and deep relational alchemy both need to be lived in the body, in the specific, in the actual texture of daily life. What needs your most devoted grounded feeling-based attention right now? Tuesday, September 15: Venus in Scorpio squares Pluto in Aquarius. Neptune in Aries retrograde sextiles Pluto in Aquarius retrograde.  Two major contacts holding the full arc of the week. Venus square Pluto surfaces what has been hidden in the relational field with an intensity that cannot be managed or bypassed. Power dynamics. The places where love has become entangled with control. The relational patterns operating beneath conscious awareness. This is the first of three Venus-Pluto squares through mid-December. Today is initial confrontation, the hidden dynamic being made visible. In the collective field, the distorted relationship between love, value, and power is unusually visible. The first square names it. The retrograde cycle ahead asks for its genuine transformation. Neptune in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius is the specific window (2026 to 2032) when the elemental grammar of the civilizational moment is expressed directly in the relationship between the two outermost planets. Neptune in Aries dissolving old identity at the civilizational level. Pluto in Aquarius restructuring collective power at the root. Their sextile the generative conversation between vision and transformation. With both planets retrograde, this conversation is interior — working underground, in the cultural unconscious, in the slow metabolizing that precedes genuine new form. We are not observers of this moment. We are living cells within it. Thursday, September 17: Chiron reenters Aries, remaining until mid-April 2027. Chiron returns to finish what was not yet fully metabolized, the wounds of identity, agency, and the right to take up space. It does not return empty-handed. The Taurus awareness of scarcity and embodied worthiness travels with it, informing the deeper Aries review. What would it mean to act and assert from genuine embodied sufficiency rather than survival-level scarcity? This chapter is completing before the long Taurus work begins. Friday, September 18: Mercury in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries.  The desire for relational harmony in communication meets the honest reality of what the moment is actually asking to be said. Between the diplomatic and the direct. Between words that preserve comfort and words that serve genuine truth. What needs to be said clearly this week that you have been finding careful words around? Saturn in Aries will not accept the careful words indefinitely. Larger Frame The elemental grammar of the current civilizational moment is fire and air. Vision and mind. The imaginal and the collective intelligence in generative conversation across a six-year window. Woven through that civilizational conversation, the Venus retrograde cycle asking the same essential questions at the personal level. What is genuinely worth keeping in how we love and value? What hidden dynamic in the relational field is ready to be named and alchemized? The macro and the micro are speaking the same language this week. Transformation rather than management of surfaces. At every level. Reflection Questions As Venus squares Pluto for the first time, what hidden dynamic in your relational field around power, worth, or genuine value is being made visible in a way that cannot be unseen?Neptune sextiling Pluto carries the elemental grammar of fire and air across a six-year civilizational window. Where in your own life are you being asked to bring genuine vision into service of genuine collective transformation? As Chiron returns to Aries to complete its work, what wound around identity or the right to take up space is asking for its honest final chapter?Podcast poem: A Warrior Has No Safety Net by Kristin George The themes of this week, the capacity to navigate the edges of genuine civilizational change, are exactly what the Air elemental spiral holds in my ecosystem. #381-"I Fired it So All Would Burn" - for the Week of September 7, 2026

The Relational Alchemist Begins Her Work Something is turning. The extraordinary outer activation of this summer is beginning to move inward. At the center of that turning is a figure whose presence has been moving beneath the surface all along. Venus. The Relational Alchemist. We are inside Venus's retrograde shadow phase, running September 1 through December 16. Venus turns retrograde on October 3 in Scorpio and turns direct on November 14 in Libra. A companion Mercury retrograde runs October 24 to November 12. This is a significant relational and alchemical season. This week it begins in earnest. Key Cycles This Week: Thursday, September 10 — Five significant movements. The gravitational center of the week. Venus enters Scorpio.  The Relational Alchemist crosses into her most intense terrain, not the planet of pleasant harmony but the initiator who insists that what is genuinely true in relationship matters more than what is comfortable. Venus in Scorpio opposes Chiron retrograde in Taurus.  The first of three Venus-Chiron oppositions unfolding through the end of November. The deepest relational wound territory, the body and self that has never quite believed it deserves genuine belonging and love. This first opposition is initial illumination. The wound is being named. Not yet metabolized. But seen. And this wound is not only personal. Venus governs value and resource — what we deem worthy of care, what true cost we are willing to acknowledge. This opposition brings the Relational Alchemist into direct encounter with humanity's severed relationship with the Mother, the Earth as a living reciprocal presence rather than a resource to be extracted. The cost of that severance is a Venus wound as much as a Chiron wound. The divine feminine and her reckoning deepens in the weeks ahead. Mercury enters Libra.  As Venus goes deep into Scorpio's underworld, Mercury in Libra becomes the voice of the relational field at the surface, seeking honest conversation that honors both parties without bypassing what is difficult. Venus deepening. Mercury articulating. Two planets working different levels of the same territory. Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini, in alignment with Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius.  All three transpersonal planets simultaneously retrograde or stationing. All three great cycles present at Uranus's turning point. The revolutionary force in the mental field pausing for interior digestion through early February 2027. The outer activation going underground, not pausing the transformation but moving it into the slower deeper processing the acceleration has not always allowed. New Moon at 18 degrees of Virgo sextiling Mars in Cancer.  A grounding lunar seeding within all of this activation. What honest body-based attention do you want to bring to your relational life in the weeks ahead? Plant that intention today. Saturday, September 12: Mercury trines Pluto and opposes Neptune. Depth alongside dissolution. The capacity to speak into what is hidden in relationship, held in tension with the dissolving imaginal field. Both honest and spacious. Sunday, September 13: Mercury trines Uranus in Gemini. Mercury completes its two-day weaving with all three transpersonal cycles. The Communicator as bridge-maker, giving language to what the long cycles are asking of us in genuine human connection. Stay curious about what arrives in conversation this weekend. Larger Frame We are entering an interior season. The mode shifts from summer's outward disruption and activation to autumn's interior alchemy. That is not a retreat. It is a deepening. Reflection Questions As Venus enters Scorpio, what truth in your relational life is asking for honest acknowledgment beneath the surface of how things appear? The New Moon in Virgo plants seeds for the retrograde season. What honest grounded attention do you want to bring to your relational life in the coming weeks? As Uranus stations retrograde, what has this summer's extraordinary activation been preparing you to integrate more deeply?Podcast poem: The Supplanting by Wendell Berry Two resources are available for those feeling called to the relational alchemy Venus in Scorpio is initiating. The Reclaim Inner Sovereignty taster workshop replay is available now as a free resource. And a live Water element taster workshop is happening October 10th, a timing that aligns with Venus moving through her retrograde cycle in Scorpio and Libra. #380-"The World Shows us How the Unimaginable Happens"-Week of August 31, 2026

Vision Finds Its Structure The eclipse portal has closed. Integration is underway. This week is quieter in its archetypal signature, fewer major contacts, more spacious rhythm. Exactly what eclipse integration requires. But quieter does not mean insignificant. Monday opens with Jupiter trining Saturn, the cycle named on the horizon last week. And Tuesday brings Mars in Cancer into an honest reckoning with Saturn. After that the week opens into genuine spaciousness. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, August 31: Jupiter in Leo trines Saturn in Aries.  To understand what this trine carries, the larger context matters. Jupiter and Saturn are the social planets — describing how transpersonal movements find expression in institutions, cultural narratives, and shared collective agreements. They meet in conjunction every twenty years, and their conjunctions cluster in the same element for roughly two hundred years before shifting. The two-hundred-year earth era, roughly 1800 to 2000, seeded the industrial revolution and the organization of collective life around physical resource and material production. Its shadow is what the current Chiron in Taurus cycle is being asked to heal. In 1980, Jupiter and Saturn met in Libra, an air sign, for the first time, a foreshadowing of the coming shift. Then on the Winter Solstice of 2020 they met at 0 degrees of Aquarius, confirming the arrival of a new two-hundred-year air era. Mind, communication, relationship, and the invisible infrastructures of shared meaning are now the organizing domain. The AI revolution, the fracturing and reformation of how reality is constructed, the question of genuine collective intelligence — these are the opening expressions of that era. Jupiter trine Saturn today is a harmonious moment within the twenty-year cycle seeded in 2020. Vision and structure finding each other with ease. What Jupiter in Leo has been amplifying — creative gifts, authentic visibility, generous offering in service of something larger — now finds the structural ground that allows it to become more than aspiration. Watch in the broader field for genuine vision finding real-world form. And personally, where is what you have been envisioning ready to find more committed honest structure? Tuesday, September 1: Mars in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. Mercury in Virgo sextiles Mars in Cancer.  Mars in Cancer's instinctual protective force meets Saturn's unsentimental reality principle in friction. The tension between what the feeling body knows needs protecting and what is actually sustainable or feasible right now. Not a suppression of the protective impulse, but a call for strategic honesty. What can you actually do, with genuine resources you have, that serves what most needs protecting? Mercury sextiling Mars offers useful counterbalance, the discerning mind in easy flow with your feeling body. Thought and feeling in conversation. A good day for honest strategic thinking about what matters most and what genuine action actually looks like. The Rest of the Week: Genuine spaciousness. No major contacts. Eclipse integration does not happen through analysis or effort. It happens through the body's slower deeper process, through dreams, through what surfaces in quiet moments, through unexpected conversations that open something waiting. Let the spaciousness be what it is. Larger Frame Jupiter trine Saturn sits at the intersection of the twenty-year and two-hundred-year cycles, while all three transpersonal cycles remain activated in the background. The choices being made right now — in how we communicate, what we build, what we protect, what we offer in service of something larger — are not small choices. They are being made at a genuine hinge point in the longer story. Jupiter trine Saturn asks that those choices be made with both vision and honest structure. With both the generosity of the open heart and the reality-tested commitment of genuine form. Reflection Questions As Jupiter trines Saturn, what vision that has been forming is ready to find more honest committed structural form?Where is Mars in Cancer's protective instinct being activated, and what does strategic resource-grounded action in service of what most needs protecting actually look like?In the spaciousness of this integration week, what is your body processing that the mind has not yet caught up with?Podcast Poem: The Dream by Rosemerry Whatola Trommer The Alchemize the Old taster workshop replay is available as a free resource — an experiential introduction to the transformative pattern-breaking work of the Fire elemental spiral. #379-"To Live in Harmony with the Voice of Being"--Week of August 24, 2026

The Eclipse Portal Closes We are at the closing of the eclipse portal. The total solar eclipse of August 12 seeded a six-month arc. This week the companion lunar eclipse in Pisces completes the portal. What was seeded is being illuminated. What needs to dissolve for that seeding to take root is now being asked to release. Key Cycles This Week: Tuesday, August 25: Mercury enters Virgo and trines Chiron in Taurus.  Mercury in Virgo's precision meets Chiron, the Wounded Healer in the earth sign. Language becoming medicine. The capacity to name what has been wounded with enough care that the naming itself begins the healing. Let this quiet contact do its work before the eclipse arrives. Thursday, August 27: Full Moon lunar eclipse at 5 degrees of Pisces. Sun conjunct Mercury in Virgo. Eclipse squares Uranus in Gemini.  The portal closes on the axis of dissolution and discernment. Pisces dissolves, the membrane between your feeling body and the larger collective field thins. What moves through you in the days around this eclipse may not be entirely personal. Stay close to your body and the Earth. Let what arises move without needing immediate explanation. Sun and Mercury in Virgo hold the other side with grounded precision — finding specific truth within vast feeling, naming what can be named, holding with spaciousness what cannot yet be articulated. The square to Uranus in Gemini adds an awakening current. What is being released is not dissolving back into the familiar. Watch for a quiet but undeniable shift in understanding. That is the Uranus thread making itself known. On the Horizon — Monday August 31: Jupiter Trine Saturn  The two social planets move into harmonious trine within the twenty-year cycle seeded at the Winter Solstice of 2020 and the two-hundred-year shift of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions into air signs. A deeper exploration coming next week. Let the eclipse do its integrating work first. Podcast poem:  It is I Who Must Begin by Vaclav Havel Reflection Questions What is moving through you around this eclipse that may not be entirely personal, and how do you stay grounded while remaining open to what the larger field is carrying?Where is Virgo's devoted attention being asked to name something difficult to articulate, and what becomes possible when that naming arrives? As the portal closes, what has been seeded in you, and what is being asked to dissolve so that seeding can take root?If you resonate with these cycles of grounding and discernment, The Root in the Sacred taster workshop replay is available as a free resource — an experiential introduction to the grounding and embodied wisdom of the Earth elemental spiral. #378-"Trust the Path that Takes You to the Edge"--Week of August 17, 2026

Inside the Eclipse Portal We are between eclipses. Inside the portal. The total solar eclipse of August 12 has seeded its arc. The companion lunar eclipse in Pisces arrives August 27. Between these two thresholds, in the compressed heightened field that eclipse seasons create, we are living this week. Three personal planets activate simultaneously on Monday, the instinctual body, the creative voice, and the relational field all in motion together inside the eclipse field. A week to stay close to what is real, let what is surfacing be seen, and resist premature resolution when honest presence is what is actually needed. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, August 17: Mars in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries. Mercury in Leo trines Saturn in Aries. Venus in Libra sextiles Jupiter in Leo.  Three significant contacts on one day holding the full register of the eclipse field. Mars squaring Neptune brings the instinctual protective force of Cancer into tension with the Dissolver. The protective impulse — for community, for the vulnerable, for what is genuinely threatened — is real and necessary. But Neptune can blur the picture, amplifying fear and making real threat difficult to distinguish from projection. Act from what you genuinely know and feel. Hold lightly what is not yet clear. Let the blur settle before making decisions from it. Mercury trine Saturn offers grounding alongside that complexity. The creative voice finds honest structure. What has clarified in the eclipse field finds form and commitment. A good day for writing, for honest conversation, for bringing eclipse insights into grounded commitment. Venus sextiling Jupiter offers genuine grace inside a portal that can feel intense. The relational field and the creative heart in easy generous conversation. Real warmth in relationship becomes possible. Let that be felt. Friday, August 21: Venus in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries.  The relational field meets the reality principle directly. Where has the longing for harmony been papering over something needing more honest attention? Where has relational beauty been asking less of a situation than it actually requires? Inside an eclipse portal, this honesty carries more weight than usual. What does right relation actually require, beyond what is comfortable or convenient? Saturday, August 22: Sun enters Virgo.  After Leo's warmth and creative expansiveness, Virgo arrives asking the practical question: how, specifically, do you want to live what has been seeded? Not as ideal or aspiration but as actual grounded daily practice. Virgo does not deal in abstraction. It deals in the specific and the real. The Sun entering Virgo also begins the final approach to the lunar eclipse on August 27, the Sun in Virgo opposing the Full Moon in Pisces. The axis of discernment and dissolution. That opposition is already gathering. A sharpening of what is actually here, a clearing of what is no longer needed, a preparation of the ground for what the lunar eclipse will illuminate. Sunday, August 23: Sun in Virgo trines Chiron in Taurus.  The Conscious Self freshly arrived in Virgo makes its first contact with the Wounded Healer. Virgo heals through attention, the careful devoted noticing of what is actually present, the willingness to see what is wounded without flinching or dramatizing. You might notice something that has been tender becoming slightly more workable. The trine does not complete the healing. But it confirms the healing is moving. Larger Frame The eclipse portal accelerates what is genuinely in motion. In the collective field that acceleration is visible. What is breaking down is breaking down more visibly. What is trying to emerge is pressing more urgently toward form. The three great cycles remain active and inside an eclipse season their movement is more feelable than usual. Stay close to what is real. Stay connected to the body's knowing. Stay in genuine relationship with others in the ways that cannot be automated or performed. The lunar eclipse on August 27 is approaching. Let this week be the honest grounded preparation it is asking to be. Reflection Questions In the eclipse portal's compressed and heightened field, what has surfaced this week that would ordinarily have taken longer to become visible, and what honest attention does it need?Where is Venus opposing Saturn asking for more honesty than comfort in your relational field, and what becomes possible when that honesty is offered? As the Sun enters Virgo and trines Chiron, where is the healing seeded at the solar eclipse beginning to touch the wound?Podcast poem: Threshold by Mark Coleman If the depth of these cycles is stirring something in you, get more support for your transformation journey at ontheedgesofchange.com. #377-"We are the Miraculous, the True Wonder of this World"--Week of August 10, 2026

A Collective Initiatory Threshold This week carries one of the most significant astrological events of the year. A total solar eclipse at 20 degrees of Leo. Rather than walking the week strictly in date sequence, we move through the eclipse as the gravitational center, with the supporting cycles named as what prepares the field before it and integrates what it seeds after. This is not primarily a personal transformation moment. It is a collective initiatory threshold. Before the Eclipse — The Field Is Prepared Monday, August 10: Venus in Libra trines Pluto in Aquarius and opposes Neptune in Aries.  Deep encounter becomes possible in the relational field. The kind of connection that touches something beneath the surface and reorganizes rather than merely confirms. Venus opposing Neptune brings emotional porousness and openness to what the collective imaginal field is carrying. Together these contacts prepare something in the relational field for what the eclipse will seed. Tuesday, August 11: Mars enters Cancer. Mercury in Leo opposes Pluto and trines Neptune in Aries. Venus in Libra trines Uranus in Gemini.  A significant day of preparation. Mars entering Cancer moves the instinctual force from mental agility into feeling-body intelligence, acting from attunement, protecting what it loves, moving from ancestral knowing. In Cancer, Mars will quickly activate Saturn and Neptune in Aries, bringing instinctual protective intelligence to bear on what communities genuinely need in order to survive and flourish. In a time when shared meaning and collective care are under pressure, this is Mars in Cancer making itself known. Mercury opposing Pluto asks what truth, spoken from genuine conviction, carries the power to reorganize rather than merely inform. Mercury trine Neptune opens the creative voice to something larger than the personal. Venus trine Uranus completes the preparation, something genuinely new becoming possible in how connection forms. The Solar Eclipse Wednesday, August 12: Total solar eclipse at 20 degrees of Leo. Mercury in Leo sextiles Uranus in Gemini.  A solar eclipse seeds a six-month arc of development. This one falls on the South Node in Leo, asking for release and integration of what has been organized around personal recognition and individual performance, so that what is genuinely creative can be offered more freely in service of the collective becoming the North Node in Aquarius is calling toward. Jupiter has been amplifying the Leo field for weeks. The solar eclipse moves through that field, asking that the generosity, warmth, and creative aliveness Jupiter has been cultivating be offered not in service of the personal story but in service of something larger. Watch what surfaces in collective life around this eclipse window. Eclipse seasons often bring what has been operating in shadow into sudden undeniable visibility. Mercury sextiling Uranus on the same day brings a quality of sudden mental clarity, a shift in understanding that may be one of the most durable gifts the eclipse carries. After the Eclipse — Integration and Arrival Thursday, August 13: Mercury in Leo sextiles Venus in Libra.  The creative voice and the relational field in warm easy alignment. What was seeded at the eclipse finds its first point of genuine human contact. Saturday, August 15: Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in Leo.  A genuine arrival. What has been understood becomes meaningful. What has been articulated finds its larger significance. The creative voice offered in service of something beyond the personal finds its fullest most generous expression. The Eclipse Portal This solar eclipse opens a portal that closes with a companion lunar eclipse, the Full Moon at 5 degrees of Pisces on August 27. What is seeded on August 12 will be illuminated and begin its first completion on August 27. Between the two eclipses, a compressed arc of development unfolds. Let what moves in you this week be fully seeded before reaching for its completion. Reflection Questions What does this solar eclipse on the South Node in Leo ask you to release so that what is genuinely creative in you can be offered more freely in service of something larger? As Mars enters Cancer, where is the instinctual body's protective intelligence being activated — what community or shared field is asking for your fierce and grounded care?In the days around this eclipse, what shifts in understanding feel like they belong to the longer arc of what is being seeded?Podcast poem: A Brave and Startling Truth by Maya Angelou (Trigger warning–the poem carries some strong imagery of violence) If the depth of these cycles is stirring something in you, a desire for grounded support in understanding how they are moving through your own unique chart, I offer astrology sessions designed for exactly that. #376-"To Loving What Feels Impossible to Love"-Week of August 3, 2026

A Compassionate Return After last week's culmination, the Full Moon activating all three great cycles, the nodal shift, Lammas marking the first harvest, this week offers a more interior quality. Three personal planets on the move. A significant healing threshold turning inward. And the week ahead already gathering its own considerable activation. But first, this week. Which is asking something particular of us. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, August 3: Chiron stations retrograde at 1 degree of Taurus, retrograding back into Aries and turning direct in early 2027.  When Chiron entered Taurus in June we named a new era of healing work beginning — the wounds of body, earth, and resource. But Chiron is not yet fully committed to Taurus. It is turning back to complete what was not yet fully metabolized in Aries since 2018. The wounds of identity, agency, the right to exist and take up space. The armored individualism that mistakes isolation for strength. This retrograde is not a setback. It is a deepening. And Chiron does not return to Aries empty-handed. It has touched Taurus, briefly, but genuinely. The wounds of scarcity, of distorted relationship to resource and embodied worth, are now being carried back into the Aries review. What would it mean to act and assert from a place of genuine embodied sufficiency rather than the chronic survival-level scarcity that dominator culture has installed in so many? The two wound territories are informing each other through the retrograde. You might notice this as a revisiting of something you thought you had moved through. Let it be a compassionate return rather than a discouraging one. The Shamanic tradition knows that the deepest healing rarely happens in a single pass. Thursday, August 6: Venus enters Libra. Sun in Leo trines Saturn in Aries.  Venus moves into her home sign, where she will remain for just over a month. After Virgo's careful discernment, Venus in Libra breathes into the relational field with greater ease and natural grace. Beauty as a value. Fairness as a felt sense. The recognition that relationship at its best is a genuine art form. On the same day the Sun in Leo trines Saturn in Aries. Creative expression meets honest reality. What has been alive and expansive in Leo season finds the grounded commitment that gives it genuine form and staying power. A good day for clear-eyed recognition of what is genuinely sustainable and worth building further. Sunday, August 9: Mercury enters Leo, remaining about two and a half weeks. Mercury in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus.  Mercury moves from Cancer's careful feeling-toned interior processing into Leo's warmth and creative conviction. The Communicator now speaks from the center rather than the periphery. More direct, more vital, more willing to be seen in what it knows. On the same day Mercury squares Chiron freshly retrograded toward Aries. Where has the voice been shaped by survival rather than authentic expression? Where has it learned to be smaller or more deferential than what is actually true? You might notice something you want to say meeting an old hesitation you did not know was still there. Stay curious about that hesitation. It may be pointing to exactly where the voice is ready to grow. Looking Ahead Next week Venus in Libra activates the air planets, moving toward opposition with Saturn and Neptune in Aries and making contact with Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. Mercury in Leo activates the fire planets, trining Saturn and Neptune in Aries and moving through Jupiter in Leo. Let what this week offers be genuinely received before the next wave of activation arrives. Reflection Questions As Chiron retrogrades back into Aries, what wound around identity, agency, or the right to take up space is asking for one more honest and compassionate look?Venus entering Libra invites genuine relational intelligence. Where in your relational field is the cultivation of real balance and right relation most needed right now?Where does the wound around speaking from genuine conviction still shape your voice, and what wants to be said that has not yet found its full expression? If the depth of these cycles is stirring something in you, a desire for grounded support in understanding how they are moving through your own unique chart, I offer astrology sessions designed for exactly that. #375-"And Dwell Uniquely Between the Heart and the Light"-Week of July 27, 2026

First Harvest at the Threshold We have been building toward this week for a month. Three great cycles named and tracked. Jupiter weaving through all three. The Sun following. This week they culminate, not in abstract outer planet contacts alone, but in the most personal luminaries available. The Sun and Moon activating all three great cycles simultaneously at Wednesday's Full Moon. And at the end of the week, the ancient Celtic festival of Lammas arrives, the first harvest. The earth's own wisdom confirming what the sky is saying. Something has been growing. It is time to begin gathering what it has produced. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, July 27: Sun in Leo trines Neptune in Aries and sextiles Uranus in Gemini. Lunar Nodes change signs: North Node enters Aquarius, South Node enters Leo. The Sun opens the week touching two of the three great cycles in flowing alignment. Vision becoming feelable. Sudden clarity about what is genuinely new in how you understand yourself and the world. On the same day the Lunar Nodes shift, an eighteen-month change in the direction of collective evolution. North Node in Aquarius calls the collective toward genuine community, collective intelligence, and the kind of power that arises from interconnection rather than concentrated authority. With Pluto already moving through Aquarius, the North Node arriving here deepens and confirms that direction. South Node in Leo asks what we are integrating and moving beyond, not Leo's genuine gifts of authentic creative expression and open-hearted generosity, but its shadow. The over-reliance on individual performance. The hunger for recognition that substitutes for genuine contribution. The leadership organized around the singular charismatic figure rather than the nourishment of the collective field. Where have I been performing rather than genuinely contributing? That is the South Node question. Wednesday, July 29: Venus in Virgo squares Mars in Gemini. Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto, opposing Jupiter in Leo, sextile Neptune in Aries, trine Uranus in Gemini.  Venus in Virgo's careful tending meets Mars in Gemini's speed and variety in friction. There may be tension between what you need in order to feel genuinely attended to and what the pace of the moment is actually offering. Name that honestly rather than adapting around it. And then the Full Moon, the culmination of everything this arc has been building toward. The luminaries activating all three great cycles simultaneously. Conjunct Pluto in Aquarius: what is ready to be released and transformed at the root, not only personally but collectively; what systems and inherited structures of power are ready to be genuinely transformed? Sextile Neptune: vision and inspiration present alongside the reckoning, the imaginal field open to what genuinely new collective life might look like. Trine Uranus in Gemini: something that has been building for weeks finds its moment of sudden clear arrival. The Full Moon falling on the newly activated nodal axis, North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo, the luminaries holding the direction of collective evolution in their light. This is not only an ending. It is a revelation. Pay attention to what you see. And ask honestly how what is being illuminated wants to be offered in service of the larger web rather than the personal story. Saturday, August 1: Lammas.  In the ancient Celtic tradition, Lammas is the festival of first harvest, the midpoint between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox, when the first fruits of the growing season are ready to be gathered. The body knows this threshold even when the mind has forgotten it. The particular quality of this Lammas, held within the nodal shift toward Aquarius, asks a specific question. Not only what has ripened in you, but what has ripened that belongs to the larger field. The first harvest in earth-based tradition was never only personal abundance. It was shared. Brought to the community. Offered in gratitude to the web of life that made the growing possible. Name what has ripened. Hold it with gratitude. And begin asking how it wants to be offered as genuine contribution to the larger web. Larger Frame The direction confirmed this week is toward Aquarius. Toward genuine community. Toward the collective intelligence that arises when individual gifts are offered in service of the whole rather than hoarded for personal recognition. The breakdown of dominator systems continues. The reckoning is not complete. But something has moved, in you, in the collective field, in the long arc of what is being born. An elder perspective does not require the completion of the transformation to recognize the reality of the harvest. Name what has ripened. Ask how it wants to serve. Trust the arc, even from inside it, even when its end is not yet visible. Reflection Questions As the Lunar Nodes shift into Aquarius and Leo, where is the invitation to move from performing your gifts toward genuinely offering them in service of something larger than the personal story? What is the Full Moon illuminating that has been quietly present but not yet fully seen?At Lammas, what is the first fruit of your own long growing during this threshold time, and how does it want to be shared rather than kept?Podcast poem: For the Artist at the Start of the Day by John O'Donohue If the depth of these cycles is stirring something in you, a desire for grounded support in understanding how they are moving through your own unique chart, I offer astrology sessions designed for exactly that. #374-"Look for the True Shape of Our Own Self"-Week of July 20, 2026

The Long Cycles Converge Last week we named three great cycles being activated simultaneously. This week Jupiter weaves through all three in rapid succession — bringing what is large and transpersonal into the realm of the humanly meaningful. Into story, culture, and the conversations where collective transformation actually takes root. This week also carries a transit that deserves its own moment of recognition. On Friday, Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius, the two slowest moving planets in flowing alignment, directly activating their own great cycle seeded in the lates 1890s. And the Sun follows. Mercury stations direct. Saturn stations retrograde. A rare threshold is reaching its crescendo. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, July 20: Jupiter in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius and trines Neptune in Aries.  Jupiter opens the week with two major contacts holding the essential tension of this entire threshold period. The opposition to Pluto, the Expander meeting the Transformer, activates the unfinished Uranus-Pluto Virgo revolution from the mid 1960's around power, identity, and who gets to flourish. Where does the desire to be fully seen meet the power structures that have historically demanded containment? On the same day Jupiter trines Neptune in Aries, activating the Uranus-Neptune Capricorn cycle from the early 1990's, the dissolution of old structures of authority and meaning. Flow rather than rupture. The invitation to imagine what might replace what is dissolving. Hold both transits together. The confrontation with power and the opening of new vision are the same threshold approached from two directions. Tuesday, July 21: Jupiter in Leo sextiles Uranus in Gemini.  Jupiter completes its rapid weaving through all three long cycles. This sextile activates the Neptune-Pluto Gemini cycle from the late 1890's, the revolution in mind, communication, and shared reality. New ideas finding unexpected audiences. Connections forming between people and communities that would not ordinarily find each other. In two days Jupiter has touched all three great cycles, bringing each into the realm of collective story and shared meaning. Wednesday, July 22: Sun enters Leo.  Leo season begins in a field already charged by everything building around it. The Sun in Leo asks what is genuinely alive in you that wants to be expressed — not performed, not managed, but genuinely offered from the place that knows its own worth. In a collective moment asking so much endurance, Leo season is not a distraction. It is a necessary counterweight. Thursday, July 23: Sun in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus. Mercury stations direct at 16 degrees Cancer.  The desire to shine meets the wound of unworthiness in its most embodied form. Where does the body carry the memory of having been seen and found lacking? Let what is tender be visible to yourself at least. That is enough for today. At the same time Mercury stations direct, completing three weeks of retrograde review in the realm of feeling and belonging. What the interior work of these weeks revealed, the emotional truth that found language, the unfinished conversation revisited, is now ready to move forward. Trust what you know now. It is ready to be spoken. Friday, July 24: Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius. Before Saturn and the Sun's confrontation with Pluto, something quieter and more vast deserves naming. The two slowest moving planets, the Imaginal Field and the Transformer, in flowing alignment. This is the great Neptune-Pluto cycle speaking to itself across time, the revolution in mind and shared reality seeded in the late 1890s now activated through a harmonious aspect between the two planets themselves.  In the background of everything else moving through this week, this is a quiet and profound current. What is the imagination of humanity reaching toward beneath the noise and the breakdown? What is being dissolved so that something genuinely new can find its form? These are questions that do not resolve in a day. But they are worth sitting with as the longest arc of the three great cycles makes itself briefly, quietly known. Sunday, July 26: Saturn stations retrograde at 15 degrees Aries. Sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius.  Saturn turning inward begins months of honest interior review. What structures in your life are genuinely serving who you are becoming? On the same day the Sun opposes Pluto, the Conscious Self meeting the Transformer directly. Where are you being asked to step into genuine visibility in the face of systems that have historically demanded your containment? Sun opposing Pluto makes that question undeniable. Sometimes the undeniable question is the most useful gift. Looking Ahead  to Next Week Monday, July 27 the Lunar Nodes change signs.  The North Node enters Leo, the South Node enters Aquarius — an eighteen-month shift asking the collective to develop toward genuine creative expression and the courage to offer individual gifts in service of the whole. Wednesday, July 29 brings a Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto, opposing Jupiter in Leo, and activating all three long cycles simultaneously. The Sun and Moon in direct contact with Pluto while touching Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. This is the culmination of everything this arc has been building toward. Its own fuller story is coming in next's week podcast. Reflection Questions As Jupiter weaves through all three long cycles, which thread feels most urgently alive in your own life and community right now?Where does the Sun squaring Chiron illuminate a wound around visibility or worthiness, and what would it mean to let that be seen rather than managed around? As Mercury stations direct and Saturn stations retrograde on the same day, what emotional truth is ready to be spoken, and what inner structure is ready to be honestly assessed? You are being prepared for something. Stay present to the preparation. Podcast poem: Working Together by David Whyte If what we have been exploring these past two weeks is resonating — the long cycles, the thresholds of becoming, the invitation to shed what is false and remember what is genuinely true in you — I want to offer something that meets exactly that territory. #373-"Continue to Dare to Love Deeply, and Risk Everything for the Good Thing"-Week of July 13, 2026

The Long Cycles Become Visible Something unusual is happening in the sky this month. Not just the weekly transits. Something larger. A convergence of long cycles that rarely become visible all at once — briefly illuminated in ways that allow us to feel their presence and direction. This week I am taking more time than usual to orient you in that larger field before walking the specific transits. The Three Long Cycles In astrology, when two outer planets meet in conjunction, they seed a cycle that unfolds over generations. Three of these great cycles were seeded in the last 130 years. This month all three are being activated simultaneously. Neptune conjunct Pluto in Gemini, late 1890s. Gemini governs mind, language, communication, and how reality is constructed and shared. This conjunction seeded a revolution in all of those domains — mass media, the discovery of the unconscious, technologies that transformed how human beings perceive and communicate. The AI emergence, the fracturing of shared reality, the speed at which language and information now move — this is that Gemini cycle in its current expression. Uranus conjunct Pluto in Virgo, mid-1960s. Virgo governs the body, healing, and the relationship between the individual and the systems they inhabit. This conjunction seeded a revolution in identity and power — civil rights, feminism, the environmental movement, the questioning of who gets to belong and on whose terms. The wounds of who has been excluded, whose body deemed less valuable, whose labor extracted — this cycle is still metabolizing in the collective body. Uranus conjunct Neptune in Capricorn, early 1990s. Capricorn governs structure, authority, and the institutions that organize collective life. This conjunction seeded the dissolution of old structures of collective meaning — the fall of the Soviet Union, globalization, the beginning of the internet age, the slow unraveling of institutional frameworks that once held collective life together. Those structures have never been fully replaced. What is breaking down in collective systems right now is this Capricorn cycle in its current expression. This month, through flowing trines and sextiles, all three cycles are being activated simultaneously. This is why many people are experiencing this time as both overwhelming and somehow significant in a way they cannot quite name. Something genuinely large is in motion. Key Cycles This Week: Monday, July 13: Venus in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini.  Unexpected friction in relationship. A desire for more authenticity running up against existing patterns and expectations. Hold relationships with spaciousness. What feels like disruption may be asking for genuine realignment rather than repair of what no longer fits. Tuesday, July 14: New Moon at 22 degrees of Cancer.  The most personal question in the middle of everything large: what do you need in order to feel genuinely held right now? This New Moon also invites tending the ancestral field. What has been passed down that is being asked to transform? What do you want to consciously seed differently for those who come after? Wednesday, July 15: Uranus in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries.  The revolution in mind and communication in easy flow with the dissolution of old identities and the emergence of new vision. Genuine creative and visionary potential available today. Stay curious about what arrives in image, in impulse, in what the imagination reaches toward. Friday, July 17: Uranus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius.  One of the most significant contacts of the month. The Awakener and the Transformer in flowing alignment, directly activating the Uranus-Pluto Virgo cycle of the 1960s. Where that conjunction was rupturing initiation, this trine offers flow — new pathways for what was seeded in that turbulent decade. Not a transit to merely observe. A transit to act from. Sunday, July 19: Mars in Gemini sextiles Saturn in Aries.  A grounding close to an activated week. Inspiration finding form. Insight becoming commitment. What has moved through you this week that wants to become something real and actionable? Looking Ahead Next week the activation deepens further — Jupiter opposing Pluto, the Sun entering Leo, Saturn stationing retrograde, and a Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto and square Chiron. A culmination moment for everything this two-week arc is building toward. Episode 374 will go deeper into what these cycles are asking of us personally and collectively. Reflection Questions Of the three great cycles, which feels most alive and present in your own life right now?At this Cancer New Moon, what does your interior life genuinely need in order to feel held enough to be present to what is unfolding? What does the larger arc of collective transformation seem to be asking of you specifically, given your gifts, your wounds, your particular place in the web of life? You are living inside something genuinely large. That is not a burden. It is, in its own way, a privilege — to be alive at a moment when the long arcs of collective transformation are briefly, unusually visible.
