Join me as I interview people from all walks of life. We will discuss their dreams, goals, hardships and what makes them tick. From morning routines to child hood dreams, lets embark on a journey together. We will laugh, maybe even cry but most of all we will learn. These are the stories of everyday people that have struggled and may still be struggling to chase their dreams. The starving Artists and the struggling student. The exhausted nurse and local cos-players. Let's break down barriers and debunk social stigmas. What will happen? I can't wait to see.

    Episode 5: Kevon "Killa-Black" Jackson

Raw and Uncut. Join me as I sit down with Kevon Jackson aka Killa-Black. I was afforded an amazing opportunity to sit down with Killa-Black and his two adorable toddler sons. They were of course interested in what was going on so we included them for your enjoyment. We discuss what it's like balancing children, his day-time job and his Rap Career. Unfortunately, the additional Rapper (Kenya King Jr.) could not make it, neither could the film crew. Fortunately, we are planning for future events and we will get a chance to hear from everyone among other things. Thank you for your continued support and much love to all of you.  Instagram:  Kevon "Killa-Black" Jackson-@yungkillablack  Kenya King-@kkingjr_official_page_ Youtube: kking jr-https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA2HrZpIDtZZSAMIVfxYFsw Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2iw4mWecVcVg8n9hRjn1hv iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/succeeding-in-america/id1436555206?mt=2&uo=4 Breaker: https://www.breaker.audio/succeeding-in-america Castbox: https://castbox.fm/channel/id1440554 Google Podcasts: https://www.google.com/podcasts?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy8yMzEyMGQ0L3BvZGNhc3QvcnNz Overcast: https://overcast.fm/itunes1436555206/succeeding-in-america RadioPublic: https://radiopublic.com/succeeding-in-america-69m5Kw Stitcher: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/anchor-podcasts/succeeding-in-america

    Episode 3: Valentine Anger

Valentine Anger, what can I say. He is a man of many talents. He is a bright star in the LGBT community who loves without limits. His journey like many others out there, has not been easy. Growing up as a gay youth in South Georgia, life was a constant struggle. Battling with his identity like so many others he made a decision and moved to LA. From there, Valentine Anger flourished and realized who he was and what he wanted. His perseverance is admirable to say the least. I hope his story reaches those who need it and maybe helps someone realize who they are. Everyone's journey is different but sometimes, a little push is all you need to realize something. I hope you enjoy this interview. This interview is comprised of 2 separate interviews due to the Anchor App having issues. You will know when you get the the second part when you hear me introduce Valentine Anger Again. Enjoy!
