    Freedom and Free Will

From the time I was little, at home and in school, I was taught to respect our country, be thankful for freedom, honor the flag, and proudly sing “God Bless the USA”. I still do that today. In this episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast we talk about the importance of having internal freedom to follow the Lord’s call, and the responsibilities that come with that as well as the blessings and responsibilities that come from living in the USA. I hope you’ll tune as we talk about Freedom and Free Will. 1 Peter 2:16 says, “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”  That's my hope and prayer for all of us today. I pray we will choose to live as God calls us to live, and not as an ally of evil. You Were Created to be a Warrior

Did you know you were created to be a warrior? Ladies, if you’ve ever questioned your strength, worth, or ability to take up your armor and battle, then please tune in to this episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast. We’re discussing the truth that the Bible tells us we were created to be warriors. No matter if your battle is career related, family, relationships, financial, physical or mental health, or some other battle, you are not alone! Whatever it is you battle right now – you are not the sole warrior – married or not, single or divorced, widowed or care-giving; career woman, mother, aunt, daughter, you don’t have to battle alone.  For encouragement, Biblical emphasis, humor, and truth, this week’s episode is a firm reminder of who we are in the Lord, what we’re called to do, and that, as women made for a purpose, we are not alone. Is this the way God meant it to be?

Are you just where God meant you to be? Unfortunately, many of us are so discontent with the season, the space, and the place we’re presently in, we stay distracted with thoughts of how to get out of where we are, instead of embracing where He’s put us. “Bloom where you’re planted” is an often-used saying when it comes to purpose, contentment, and staying encouraged on this journey. In this episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast, we’re talking about blooming, sustaining, growing, and all the crap it takes to make the ground fertile enough to do so! If you’re tired of feeling like where you are has no purpose, and you aren’t blooming like you should, I hope this brief episode will encourage you to hold pn, not to shrink back, give up, or turn your back on where God has you in this season. Yep, that was God!

Have you ever been able to look at a time in your life and say, "Yep, that was God!" or does it come out more like, "Um, that was God?" "God appointments" or "divine appointments" are those unexpected, divinely, Godly-orchestrated encounters, situations, experiences, and moments in life that happen for a higher purpose and a heavenly reason. When life gets difficult, and the challenges seem TOO challenging, we tend to forget that God's way is always better. Isaiah 55:9 says: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”  Trying to remember that God has time for each of us and cares deeply for all his children is difficult when we hurt, or become fearful. I recently found a quote that I share in this episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast that helps remind me that His way is far better than my own and that He has not forgotten me, you, or any of us! “He who counts the stars and calls them by their names is in no danger of forgetting his own children.”  - unknown I'm discussing that quote and my most recent "Yep, that was God!" moment in this episode.  To tune in to this episode, you can go straight to my website and listen via the podcast player:  https://womaninspired.org/podcasts  OR search for The Woman Inspired Podcast in your favorite podcast app. For more encouragement, Biblical insight, testimony, humor, and inspiration, tune in to The Woman Inspired Podcast! Cleaning out the junk

In this episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast I'm talking about cleaning out the old files. You know what I mean? The old junk we let pile up in the back of our minds. The stuff that starts to decay and infect our thinking and our very lives. That's the season I'm in right now - understanding the necessity of processing things at the spiritual and emotional level so they don't start to pile up mentally. Realizing that cleaning out the old junk won't be comfortable, but it's a necessity. With encouragement, a bit of humor, and an urgency to share, that's what this latest episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast is about. “If you’re going to rob a convenience store, don’t forget the candy bar"

“If you’re going to rob a convenience store, don’t forget the candy bar.” That’s the quirky title of the latest episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast. Matthew 26:41 reminds us to pray so that we don’t enter into temptation. In this episode, I share about an incident I once witnessed where a man decided to rob a convenience store, but a last-minute temptation became his downfall. Filled with insight on the cautions of partaking in what is merely convenient, this quirky episode is a reminder that reaching for what is quick and easy doesn’t usually lead us down the road to happiness. Things my grandma taught me

Wisdom is defined as the ability to discern, good sense, and accumulated philosophical learning. When I think of wisdom, I can’t help but turn to the Bible, as well as think of people whose wisdom I miss -   like my Dad, my grandma, and others. Some who are still here on this earth, and some are already in heaven. As I was studying about wisdom this week, I remembered that when my grandma passed away at the age of 99, I wrote some things about her dealing with wisdom and knowledge. In this week’s episode of The Woman Inspired Podcast, which I titled “Things my grandma taught me”, I share some bits of wisdom, common sense, and cautions straight from my grandma and some Biblical perspectives about the world of social media life.
