    Drama at Bay Hill and Golf Cask Founder Brian Bailie

    A rare playoff at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a preview of the PLAYERS, and Golf Cask Founder Brian Bailie. For the first time in a long time the Arnold Palmer Invitational went to a playoff, while Scottie and Rory were nowhere to be seen. All the new young guys were on display at the Puerto Rico Open, including Blades Brown and John Daly Jr, but it was another young player who won in his tournament debut. The Asian Swing ended at the Blue Bay LPGA, where a Korean had a roller coaster final day before holding off a local Chinese pro for the win. Casey Jarvis has been all the talk on the DP World Tour's African swing, and he almost made it 3 in a row before falling just short. Zach Johnson, fresh off his 50th birthday, made his way to the Champions Tour, and easily notched himself his first victory. The PGA TOUR now heads to TPC Sawgrass for the PLAYERS, and Alex needs to know if Michael considers it golf's fifth major. March is a busy month with Alex's Austin getting ready for SXSW, Michael's Savannah gearing up for St Patrick's Day, and airlines doing crazy stuff. In Tuned In, Michael shares his review of 2024's "Saturday Night," while Alex is getting inundated with videos of driverless cars. This week's guest is Brian Bailie, the founder of Golf Cask. Brian shares why he formed an online community who like golf, whiskey, and cigars (or at least one of the three), how the community serves its members, and how Ireland provided pivotal in Brian's journey into loving whiskey. "Alex's Bits" gives us our much needed tidbits of college basketball knowledge, including an undefeated fighting to make the bracket, and a big upset in the Women's SEC Tournament. Michael is excited for college hockey, as the guy's alma mater Quinnipiac Bobcats punched their ticket after winning the ECAC Women's Tournament, and the men look to get started in the ECAC Tourney this weekend. NFL Free Agency is getting hot, but Alex's Patriots and Michael's Giants are pretty quiet so far.     Golf Is Hard and Purdue Pitcher Austin Klug

    Golf can be hard at the Cognizant Classic, Alex goes to another PopStroke, and Purdue Boilermaker Austin Klug joins the podcast. The golf gods did not smile on Shane Lowry at the Cognizant Classic as he dunked two in the water to give up the win. The Seminole Pro-Member tournament is a crazy member-professional that usually includes Tiger Woods. But his absence is making Alex weary of future golfing prospects this season. The LPGA stayed in Asia for the HBC Women's World Championship, where Australian Hannah Green finished with bogeys but was still able to hold on to win. The DP World Tour stayed in Africa, where Casey Jarvis got his second win in a row in South Africa. Alex is enjoying the warmer Texas weather is went down to San Antonio to check out that city's PopStroke, where he enjoyed the golf and the vibes. Michael, meanwhile, is getting ready for St Patrick's Day by checking out Savannah's Slithering. In Tuned In, Alex is watching the "new" "Scrubs," while Michael is telling us to avoid "We Always Lived In The Castle." This week's guest is Purdue Boilermaker Austin Klug. The Senior Pitcher chats with Alex about why pitchers are better golfers, plus the state of his golf game when he isn't on the mound. Michael gives us a college hockey update (well, an alma mater update) as the boy's Quinnipiac Bobcats clinch their sixth straight regular season conference title.     New Winner at the Genesis and Golf Handicap Cop Yip Strickler

    A unknown wins at Tiger's Genesis Invitational, the Olympics wrap up in Italy, and golf handicap cop Yip Strickler. The Genesis Invitational had a new winner claim victory by the skin of his teeth over some of the greats of the game, while Scottie Scheffler's impressive streak came to an end. Tiger gave his usual press conference at Riviera, and gave an exciting answer if he will play at Augusta this year. The Honda LPGA Thailand kicked off the competitive LPGA season, and the World's Best won again. The DP World Tour was in Africa for the Magical Kenya Open, where a Kenyan made the cut for the first time. Next week, the LPGA Tour keeps going in Asia, while the PGA TOUR starts their Florida Swing at PGA National. Alex got to enjoy the Round Rock Classic, collegiate baseball tournament in Austin, and caught up with Purdue catcher/outfielder Sergio DeCello. In Tuned In, Michael shares his review of the mockumentary classic "Waiting for Guffman," and the guys give their last impressions of the Winter Olympics. This week's guest is Yip Strickler, known for catching those who cheat on their golf handicap. Yip chats with Alex about the different ways players cheat, how he catches them, and more on his content. Alex gives an update in college basketball and we are three weeks away from March Madness, including a surprising "Final Four" weekend that just happened.     Morikawa wins at Pebble Beach, Obama says aliens are real, and Orlando DJ Kevin Eman. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am had an amazing Sunday finish, but eventually Collin Morikawa held on to win on the Pacific Coast. But what if Scottie could play better on Thursday? Anthony Kim on LIV Golf finally returns to the winners circle after the biggest roller coaster career ever. The LPGA kicks off its new season (for real) in Asia, but Charlie Hull won the PIF Saudi International in commanding fashion. The PGA TOUR heads to the Genesis which means we finally get to hear from Tiger Woods and when he may return to the game of golf. Alex's backyard is going under a crazy transformation into a mini golf hole, and Michael is wondering what Alex's wife is getting out of his shenanigans. In "Do You Remember?" the guys dive into when they first thought about aliens, especially after Barak Obama said aliens are real. In Tuned In, the guys look at some of the biggest Olympic moments from the past week, including a disappointing performance in men's figure skating. This week's guest is DJ and Producer Kevin Eman. A playoff victory gave Chris Gotterup his second win for he young PGA TOUR season, making us all wonder how long this play will last. Patrick Reed is winning in bunches on the DP World Tour, making Alex think Reed could be "better" than Scottie Scheffler this year. LIV Golf finally got what they wanted, but at what cost? The TOUR heads to Pebble Beach and the start of a great couple of months of golf. Winter is over in the south as the heat start to return, making Michael and Alex excited for what's next. In Tuned In, Michael watches the Oscar winning musical Chicago, while Alex and Michael share their takes on the opening weekend of the Winter Olympics. This weeks guest is Jared Henzlik, the Director of Retail at Big Cedar Lodge.     Super Bowl Prop Bets and PGA Hope Ambassador DJ Naigan

    An easy win for Justin Rose, more LIV defectors, Super Bowl prop bets galore, and PGA Hope Ambassador DJ Naigan. The Farmer's Insurance Open at Torrey Pines had ideal conditions and a runaway win from Justin Rose. Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka played the weekend in his first event back, and CBS unveils a new team of broadcasters. The LPGA's Tournament of Champions in cold Orlando, FL ended up getting shortened to 54 holes, baffling Alex and Michael, and the celebrities who still went out and played on Sunday morning. The DP World Tour had an epic collapse, but at the end of the day it was another great showing by Patrick Reed as he says goodbye to LIV golf. Alex and Michael wonder when the bleeding will stop from the rival circuit as numerous players jump ship back to the PGA Tour. The PGA TOUR heads to the party that never stops at the WM Phoenix Open, and Alex quizzes Michael on the big concerts going on all week at TPC Scottsdale. The Winter weather finally slammed into Michael's Savanah with snow and freezing cold temperature, while Alex is contemplating running away from the cold on the new-look Southwest Airlines. In Tuned In, Michael catching "Wicked: Part One" and is enjoying the broadway hits, while Alex is catching the Grammys and the surprising wins at music's biggest night. Alex left sunny Orlando and returned to wintery Texas as most of the country dived into a horrible winter storm this weekend.
