Is it all downhill from here?
S1: great, very engaging, lots of investigating, etc. It even had lots updates and a conclusion! (Though I don’t agree with the podcaster that “someone else had to be involved”. I don’t think that’s necessarily true. But there was an end so there’s that.)
S2: still good, engaging story, lots of interviews but not much of a conclusion. It was almost like they couldn’t get the conclusion they were looking for and so closed the season without even saying what they think happened. Was very confused and had to go back and listen because I was sure I missed something. I think it’s kind of easy to figure out what happened and though I understand the family’s grief, I believe that however bizarre, accidents happen.
S3: this is where I start to fall off. This case is very twisty and the sequence of events is…hard to pin down after a certain point. And there is no conclusion, though it’s hardly the podcaster’s fault. However, their persistence in “getting information” and proclaiming to “need” to get into private property strikes wrong. Not to mention dragging 2020’s issues into the narrative of something that happened years ago. Just say you can’t understand how what happened could have happened and leave it at that! Don’t add to the issue!!!!
Terrible woke
Way too many transgender, minority and politically driven commercials…. If I wanted to hear that nonsense I’d turn in the news…. Podcast in English commercials in Spanish, how does that make any sense?
Just okay
I enjoyed most of the seasons, although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this podcast to anyone. I feel like as the seasons went on this became less about uncovering new things and just about telling the story itself.
