Why make photographs

I particularly like the "why" of photography. Sounds like an oxymoron to listen to people talk about photographs - but they do a great job and make it work. Give it a few listens and you'll get hooked.

Fantastic breath of fresh air

Give yourself a break from obsession over gear or software technique. Many episodes feature fascinating guest photographers of all kinds. Episodes with Michael and Suzanne are great too. Philosophy, Aesthetics, History. Check it out! SF based.

Find your muse in an entertaining conversation

As a long-time casual photographer, I have sometimes found myself in a rut--bored of what I'm producing, but unsure how to change things up. Sometimes I've reinvigorated my interest with a purchase (a new lens, say), sometimes with an exercise (textures, triangles, etc.), and sometimes with some inspiration. This podcast is an inspiration for anyone who likes photography, and needs a little push to expand their horizons. Mike and Suzanne do it, not by bamboozling you with technical specifications, but by helping you develop your eye. It comes across not like being instructed, but more like a cocktail conversation that has you itching to speak up as well. I'm glad I got turned on to this.
