Former Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes once told Geraldo Rivera that the only thing in the middle of the road is road kill. Geraldo contends that there is more than road kill in the middle and the county needs a balance between the far left and far right, thus the “Roadkill with Geraldo Rivera” podcast was born.

Rivera began his 48-year career as a television reporter at WABC-TV in New York and was a member of the original cast of ABC's Good Morning America. He had an eight-year association with ABC's 20/20 as an investigative reporter and produced and hosted The Geraldo Rivera Show for 11 years. Prior to joining Fox News, Rivera served as host of CNBC's number-one rated prime time show, Rivera Live, where his critically-acclaimed coverage of the O.J. Simpson civil trial verdict set an all-time CNBC rating record. Rivera is a veteran foreign correspondent who has been on the frontlines of many international conflicts since 1973.

Geraldo is also a three-time winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, the Scripps Howard Foundation National Journalism Award and has received more than 170 awards for journalism, including the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, three national and seven local Emmys, and two Alfred I. duPont - Columbia University Awards. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Brooklyn Law School and is the author of eight books, including The Geraldo Show – A Memoir.

Geraldo , I love your show but half of them are not taped correctly. On my iPhone X you sound like Mickey Mouse no matter what speed I play it. Today I m very disappointed , expecting to get your take on the election.

Praises Trump as his friend then says it’s a conspiracy theory when a valid voting process was interfered with from coast to coast in front of his eyes, ballot drops, Republican and even neutral inspectors forced out of count centers sometimes forcefully, physically corralled like livestock and unable to see, one sided votes popping up by the thousands in Biden’s favor, days after the results should have been tallied. Geraldo is bought and paid for, always has been. A total schmuck then, a total schmuck now. Unsubscribed.

Podcast review

I like Geraldo and I think you may be as you say in the middle of the road for the most part, but I just don’t see it when it comes to Gun and gun laws.
I truly don’t see how taking guns away from law abiding citizens and disarming them can stop a maniac from killing people from time to time.

I’ve been to gun shows and I’ve been to gun stores and bought a gun at both places. Both times there was a background check.

I see the current push as a way to have a gun registry and with a gun registry this gives the government knowledge of where all of the guns are.
The problem with that is when some Socialist looney gets in office one day, what and who will be able to stop them if they become tyrannical.

The first thing a government like that would do is take the guns.
Once the guns are taken they can take away your rights and then your freedoms.

I wish you well with your podcast Geraldo. We need you to keep up the good work, but please also consider we have lots of gun laws and the vast majority of gun owners abide by those laws.

The evil criminals no matter how many laws we make won’t follow them because by name they are evil criminals and if they are willing to kill, they don’t mind breaking the gun laws.

Perhaps more psychological hospitals, maybe fewer violent movies and video games, which desensitize people to violence and a new push to get people back in the church and get the fear of God back in these people.
