The hosts cover a wide range of Sims topics so you'll get everything from nostalgia for the lore of The Sims 2 to gameplay tips and mod reviews for The Sims 4. The hosts are lovely and always make me smile and laugh. They do a great job at putting together a thoughtful, fun, and honest podcast about The Sims.

Big fan of Under the Plumbob! Found the podcast when looking for something light-hearted to listen to with my coworkers. We’ve been able to bond over our shared love of the Sims. It’s been fun getting to walk through the history of the Sims. Love all of the hosts and teams and the fun different dynamics they bring.

Maybe don’t make your tagline about escaping the real world and then shame your listeners for asking you to not talk about “real world” issues on the show. There’s a difference between blind privilege and taking time away from the trash fire as self care.

I started listening to this podcast in April and have already blown through every single episode. I like to listen to podcasts while at my soul-sucking job, and this one has been the most pleasant distraction. I am honestly upset that I am caught up. All of the hosts are truly delightful, and it really feels like you are having coffee with friends while you listen. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thanks for keeping me sane UTPB team :)

UTPB is an awesome podcast for anyone who plays the Sims. Or if you’ve ever played the game. It got me back into playing after a couple years of not opening it. All the teams are great. They’re all different and bring different gameplay styles and ideas to the pod. They are hilarious and do a great job of reminding the listeners why we love this crazy game. I never knew there were so many things to talk about related to this game. But they’ve figured it out because each episode is new and even teaches you something about the game. I’m not all the way caught up yet because I started from the beginning. But I’ve been listening to a few episodes everyday for a couple weeks, and it still completely holds my attention. A+ Just remember, don’t die by Murphy Bed. And save your game!!!!

I’ve been a fan of Sims since the original release and I am so delighted that there is a podcast out there to further my enthusiasm. The host of this pod are seriously so funny and I’ve learned so much I hadn’t about gameplay. 🌼

Not only does this fulfill my want and need to listen and chat about all things The Sims, but each host offers a different experience and perspective thanks to their unique backgrounds (cultural, geographically, orientation, age etc)! It’s also helped improve the enjoyment of my game play :)

And so much “wah wah wah! Sims 4 isn’t like the ones I played in middle school! Wah!!!!” Ugh

Think again! These amazing individuals bring so many new details of the Sims to my ears consistently. I’ve been playing since the Livin’ Large expansion, and I am always learning new things about this incredible and flawed game about people. I greatly appreciate the depth this podcast finds in the simulation. It also feels like hanging out with my close friends where we’ve known each other for years. Thank you!! Delaney
