Irish Stand

Smart, witty discussion of American politics from an Irish and Irish-American perspective.

Thank you for such a timely and insightful podcast. Living in the US, I am horrified and disgusted by this administration. Our reputation in the world has sustained severe damage, and the current foreign policy is nationalistic, xenophobic, inept and malevolent. DJT befriends autocrats and shuns our historically closest allies. Your podcast contributors are well-versed in the inner workings of American politics and compassionate voices. They give me hope that those outside of the US recognize this administration does not reflect the will of the majority of the American people. Millions more voted against DJT than for him. Please keep up the good work of this podcast, which is very encouraging to me and I am sure all of your American listeners. Sanity will eventually triumph in the United States. Millions of us are working very hard to bring back a more representative government we can trust. We are not giving up.
