You can still climb the ladder without operating over the top all the time. It's just not that serious. If you have to be out, you're out. You can slow down, you don't have to run so fast. I want the girls in their 20s to understand that you can slow down. I think it's okay that I was operating that way, but it's healthier now. I wish I would have really been able to separate things a little bit more. Burnout was something that I've battled for years.
