An interview between an unknown “reporter” and “Marie Antoinette”. Historically inaccurate, (they seem to be well-informed on the rumors about Marie Antoinette, and leave out the historical facts - as part of the act), and so, this should be marked as satire. Nevertheless, it’s a fun take on “Marie Antoinette”, as perceived by her detractors, (as if she were the way her haters made her out to be).
These two young people are really funny. The script and satirical, over-dramatic acting was indulgent and had me giggling. I only regret that this was only three minutes long, and it’s the only episode.
I’d subscribe for more - the length of the episodes wouldn’t matter! I’d love to hear episodes done on other young people of history. Maybe Sally Hemings - or others who were victims of their time and now, remembered differently.
The script was well done! You might also play the parts of your protagonist/main character as if correcting a reporter on her inaccurate information, about the character she interviews.
Btw, The diamond necklace affair was blamed on Marie Antoinette, that’s true - and she didn’t do it - also accurate but, it was actually the fault of a woman named Jeanne de Valois-Saint Remy, (phonetically pronounced “Gee-Ahn day Vah-Loy Saynt Ray-me”) who was later convicted for forgery of the queen’s name to purchase a diamond necklace from the Crown Jewellers in her name. This was after Marie Antoinette declined to buy it. You might want to “interview” Jeanne about it, and see what she has to say for herself haha!
