Ever wondered if God, destiny or fate has a sense of humor? I've got a lifetime of anecdotal proof that the bad things we go through can be hilarious.

Episodes

  1. 12/16/2018

I've Got Your Picture, I'm Coming With You, Dear Chris-ia Count Me In

I think it was the bard who wrote, "Don't threaten me with a good time." And this episode is about one heck of a good time: my first Vans Warped Tour. Listen to this crazy experience I had at my first Warped Tour that was different than anyone else there!

  2. 12/09/2018

The Empire Strikes Gold: A 48-hour Disaster

I was in a band that lasted two days. Two days, America. But it was a wild two days. Listen to this episode to see why on earth I would journey down this metalcore rabbit hole.

  3. 11/26/2018

Physical Exercise? Nah. Physical Music? Yes, please!

I'm a weirdo, this I know, because it's 2018 and I still prefer listening to music on physical mediums. Think that's strange? Well, literally every human does too. Find out why I love physical music!

  4. 11/20/2018

See the Wheel, Be the Wheel, Destroy the Wheel

Art is a fun hobby, most definitely, but dabbling into different types of art, such as ceramics, can cause homicidal levels of rage and frustration. Trust and believe.

  5. 11/18/2018

    Optimism, Orion and Open Wounds

Metal shows are rad, but this one was one for the hematology books. Listen to how getting blood spit on me turned out to make me feel better about the world.

  6. 11/11/2018

Being on literal pins and needles. Like, literal pins and needles.

Donating plasma and having anxiety are a match made in...somewhere. Definitely not heaven. But for sure somewhere. Give this episode a listen to hear about my experiences with being the gorgeous and amazing human disaster that I am!

  7. 11/07/2018

Video Home System or Viciously Hitting Students?

I believe it was the bard who wrote, "snitches get stitches." But sometimes telling the truth is rewarded with confidence, trust and peanut butter cups.

  8. 11/05/2018

Assembly? More like "Assemble My Knee," amirite, guys?

Sometimes trying to be a cool kid in high school ends up in a stupid injury that causes nothing but pain and a lack of dates.

  9. 11/02/2018

Bloody nose and ruined clothes? Stay on your toes

Giving presentations in college isn't easy for anyone, but when every little thing goes wrong with your day, the presentation seems to be the easiest hurdle to jump over.

  10. 10/31/2018

    Ruts, Butts and Such

Getting a butt to the face at a concert may not sound pleasant, but it is an amazing way to learn the backside of life's lessons.

  11. 10/30/2018

Say your name and one fun fact about you

Literally nothing is worse than when you have to go around the class and tell everyone your name and one thing about yourself. It's worse than the plague. This episode is the introduction to Chris and the reason I wanted to make Fortunately Unfortunate. Give it a listen and get weird with me.
