Ep. 7: CHRISTMAS

Welcome to another episode of BTB! Today we get into the holiday spirit with some more lighthearted content. We're talking about some of the NBA matchups this Christmas, our favorite Christmas music, and discuss the biggest debate in holiday history...is Die Hard a Christmas movie? We'll be taking a break the week in between Christmas and New Year's because of time constraints and giving ourselves a little rest and we hope you do the same. See you in the new year!

(Not that we aren't already blasting our Christmas playlist) So stay tuned for a holiday-filled episode!

Ep. 5: ABOVE THE LAW

Hello again, baserunners! (Is that clever? Probably not) Today we delve into athletes and musicians who are, or are at least regarded as to being above the law. So, they did some bad things and didn't pay for it. From Tom Wilson to Tonya Harding, and Phil Spector to Led Zeppelin, we only touched on a fraction of the criminal activity within sports and music.

Ep. 1: AIDS

Hello! This is the very first episode of Beyond the Baselines (or Basslines). We don't know how it's spelled. This is a podcast about where rock 'n roll music and sports collide, as told by two 20-something women with deep interest in these two communities, not typically geared toward us. This episode we introduce ourselves and dive right in, talking about the Bohemian Rhapsody and how it handled AIDS and then some prominent athletes who dealt with the disease.
