AAAAI Podcast: Conversations from the World of Allergy

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) podcast series will use different formats to interview thought leaders from the world of allergy and immunology. This podcast is not intended to provide any individual medical advice to our listeners. We do hope that our conversations provide evidence-based information. Any questions pertaining to one\'s own health should always be discussed with their personal physician. The AAAAI Find an Allergist is a useful tool to locate a listing of board-certified allergists in your area.
Essential for food allergy parents!

Thank you, Dr. Stukus for this wealth of knowledge in this very digestible form. There’s so much outdated information and misinformation out there, and so many episodes in this podcast are absolutely essential for parents of kids with food allergies. Thank you for covering so many topics that we need to know about to effectively advocate for our kids at the allergist’s office, school and social settings!

Great topics for listeners of all backgrounds

I enjoy listening to the podcast, Dr. Stukus does a good job interviewing the participants. I recently enjoyed listening to the interview with Dr. Khokhar. The audio quality of the podcast has gotten better with time but still could be better.
Very Informative

Well produced and moderated podcasts! I really appreciate the range of timely topics and how the podcasts are geared to a range of audiences. Highly recommend for any lay individual looking to learn more about food allergies from a reputable source!
Good overall but room for improvement.

I think the choice of topics is good overall. Audio quality leaves quite a bit to be desired with most episodes. I also wish it was geared directly to practicing allergists and not hedging to also appeal to the general public. I wish it was structured more like the EMCrit podcast.

Unfortunately very superficial discussion without real depth or address of common clinical dilemmas
Happy to see a solid allergy podcast!

Please keep these coming! Much needed.
Too basic

Would appreciate more in-depth clinical information geared toward allergists/immunologists and fellows in training. Currently the format is a bit dry and information mainly geared toward a lay audience.
Partical information, awesome content,

and professinal interview skills. But the sound quaility is so poor I cannot get myself listen longer than 15 min. The Academy should get you a good quality microphone.
Needs to be more geared towards medical professionals

So glad to have an allergy podcast. Really wish this would be geared more towards practicing allergists or medical personnel interested in allergy. The curbsiders is a good model. I have talked to other allergists that would be interested in something like this.
