Now….. Wow!!! 2 weeks ago it looked as though Vladimir Putin was flexing his military muscle and Sabre rattling on the Ukrainian border. Just 9 days ago he decided to cross the Ukrainian border and pick a fight with a country much smaller than his. I have had many comments about this in the last 2 weeks, but I am now firmly in the corner of the Ukrainian People and I pray for cooler heads to intervene in this conflict, but NOT THE USA… President Biden took center stage on Tuesday night to give his first State of the Union address and I will not mince my words on how I feel about his leadership and his actions during the past year. Santa Clara county finally dropped their mask and vaccine requirements, and in my opinion it was far too late for any respect that I have for those who let this public health tyranny linger on. However I myself am glad this is over (or not) and I hope to put this season of uncertainty behind us. What else in on tap for this week’s podcast??     We Lied! We have to talk Pandemic again A couple weeks ago, I boasted about our "last coronavirus episode". I lied and DJ was right! (Damn! That's hard to say 🤣🤣) Recently, The United States Supreme Court struck down major parts of President Bidens vaccine mandates and just as I thought the world might return to normal Buffy Wick (D) assembly of Oakland California presented AB1993. A vaccine mandate exclusively for California and covers every single person in the state. This bill is supported by the heavily Democrat leaning California legislature and this could prove to be the straw that breaks the Camels back with citizens, businesses, employers and certainly with me "aka The Weather'd Soul". We will also be touching on the deteriorating relationship between the Police and those they swore to protect. As we watch, read and consume the news, one cannot dismiss the daily dose of either a heroes story or an oppressive beating or following of orders as America's police forces are under constant attack by organizations, citizens and even the government it serves. The once thought of bad apples and rare events have picked up steam due to social media and cell phone technology helping to write history and bring to light the argument. Police bad or police good? and finally The Weathered Soul Podcast has painstakingly reached out to an outspoken progressive who lives and breathes in the ultra progressive city of San Francisco. We have been unable to reach her for an interview, but Michelle Tandler, CEO. founder of Life School and now prolifically posting honest and thought provoking questions to her city on Twitter @michelletandler is a very interesting voice and we will try to comment and discuss much of her passion towards understanding what is happening to her city of San Francisco.
