Theatre of the Mind Players

Listening to the Milwaukee Fallout arc, and it’s really creative and funny and great!!

Theatre of the Mind Players plays a variety of RPGs, mostly indie or lesser-known games (i.e., not D&D). I stumbled onto this podcast because I was looking for examples of how Over the Edge was played. I then saw that they did a playthrough of Paranoia, and I've binged an embarrassing number of hours listening to them. They are great. I was not a listener of actual-play podcasts, but I am now. NOTES: Emotionally honest & great chemistry among cast; GM & players show a tremendous amount of generosity toward one another during play, and there is genuine buy-in from the entire cast. But even then everyone always seems to genuinely be having fun—a lot of fun!

TMP does a fantastic job of showcasing the mechanics of the games while delving deep into the drama and storytelling that is often difficult to achieve in a ttrpg.

I had so much fun finding this podcast. I immediately enjoyed the vibe of the players and the storytelling of the GM kept me captivated. Just finished Chill (soooo creeepy in the best way) and can't wait for more!
