    Pain of Gain

In this message titled Pain of Gain, delivered at District Church, Pastor Lee explores how believers can overcome difficulty in the sermon series on overcoming pain. Drawing from Hebrews 12:1-3 and Luke 22:39-46, Pastor Lee addresses the life of faith that exists in the gap between present struggles and future hope. Focusing on Jesus' example in the Garden of Gethsemane, the message outlines three principles for spiritual growth: letting go of weights and sin, running with endurance when facing resistance near the one yard line, and keeping our eyes fixed on the joy set before us. Through the presence and strength of the Holy Spirit, believers are encouraged to push through pain to reach God's ultimate purpose.

Multitudes in the Valley of Decision

In this powerful message at District Church, Guest Speaker Pastor Anthony Marquiz delivers an urgent and encouraging message titled "Multitudes in the Valley of Decision". Drawing from his 59 years of marriage and a lifetime of ministry, Pastor Anthony shares what it truly means to live a life conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Our lives are not defined by a single spiritual event, but by the daily, practical choices we make in our personal valleys of decision. Pastor Anthony challenges us to examine our hearts and ask whether we are fully surrendered to God or holding onto a "Plan B". Through a deep dive into Scripture, this sermon explores how key biblical figures faced their own defining moments: * Judas and Peter: The contrasting choices of Judas' betrayal and Peter's denial under pressure. * Daniel and the Three Hebrew Youth: The bold, unwavering faith of Daniel in the lions' den and the three Hebrew young men in the fiery furnace. * The Apostle Paul: The radical transformation of Paul on the road to Damascus. * Jesus Christ: The ultimate example of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, praying, "nevertheless, not my will but yours be done". Pastor Anthony also shares his raw and deeply personal testimony, from surviving a near-fatal drug overdose at age 24 during a failing marriage, to witnessing God's miraculous healing of his daughter from both epileptic seizures and a brain tumor. Are you "almost persuaded" like King Agrippa, or are you ready to be fully persuaded, choosing Christ above all else? Tune in to this transformative message and discover the true freedom of aligning your free will with the heart of the Father?

Rechelle Lyons outlines three vital signs of divine restoration: •Repentance: Coming to our senses in the broken places, letting go of pride, and aligning our hearts back with God. •Forgiveness: Experiencing the overwhelming, compassionate embrace of a Father who meets us with love before we even speak, and extending that same forgiveness to others. •Identity: Reclaiming our true standing as children of God, beautifully symbolized by the robe of honor, the ring of authority, and the sandals of sonship. Whether you are facing struggles in your relationships, finances, or personal walk, this message is a reminder that you are never too far gone for the Father's heart to restore you to wholeness. Self-Sabotage

We often look for external enemies to blame for our struggles, but sometimes the greatest threat to our progress is the enemy within. As part of the series titled Enemies of Life, Pastor Lee dives into the story of Jonah to reveal the destructive nature of self-sabotage. He explains that the key to receiving life from God is our response to His leading, and when we fail to respond appropriately, we end up sabotaging our own future. Pastor Lee identifies three common traps that lead to self-sabotage: bad choices, bad company, and a bad connection with God. Using a deeply personal story about his own past legal troubles and the mercy he found after Hurricane Katrina, he illustrates how God’s grace is always available to wash away years of mistakes. Whether you feel like you are running in the opposite direction from your calling or just feel disconnected from God's presence, this message offers hope. Discover how one small step of obedience can begin to undo the damage of self-sabotage and reconnect you to the life-giving power of God's grace.

By looking at the temptation of Jesus and the downfall of King Saul, we see how the enemy leverages our vulnerabilities to disable us as warriors.
