It displays soft notes of red fruit to the nose, good acidity and freshness in the mouth. Very balanced fine wine. The sugar content is compensated by the acidity that makes the wine very fresh and enjoyable on the palate. Acinum Wines Acinum is a collection of exquisite wines selected by Fabrizio Pedrolli in order to showcase the best Italian territories and wineries. The goal is to represent to the United States the authentic heritage of indigenous grapes that makes Italian wine unique to the world. This selection starts from the historical wine areas of Veneto, Negrar in Valpolicella and Montforte d’Alpone in Soave. Fabrizio Pedrolli is proud to present these wines, that are the result of a successful collaboration with the family of Edoardo Montresor, who cultivate the grapes, and the oenological expertise of Enrico Paternoster. Why is it special? What's the story and what makes it something AMAZING?!  Pop in the Earbuds, Fill a Glass, and join Christi & Alex as they Drink Something AMAZING! . . . . . . . . On the palate, the wine is round and rich, with a silky texture and lingering flavors. The elegance of the wine is aided both by the cooler weather at harvest and by using less whole cluster than usual for this cuvée. 2019 is also the first vintage of Estate Pinot Noir that has no Pommard clone addition.  | Buy This Wine!  LINGUA FRANCA ESTATE Lingua Franca was co-founded by Larry Stone, David Honig, and Dominique Lafon in 2015, inspired by the exceptional vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills that Larry bought in 2012. They soon hired Thomas Savre, a brilliant young winemaker with work experience at some of the best domaines in Burgundy and an inquisitive mind. All are committed to farming and winemaking practices that respect the environment, believing that complex and undisturbed ecosystems help to create the most complex and seductive wines. Its oriental facade is adorned with three pagoda turrets, all cast in a soft golden sandstone. Chateau Cos d'Estournel today covers 170 acres separated from Chateau Lafite, along the southern edge, by the stream between St. Estephe and Pauillac. The gravelly soil, over a flint, limestone and silicate subsoil low in nitrogen, has eroded over centuries to form steep ridges which perfectly drain the vineyards. The vineyards are planted 60 percent in Cabernet Sauvignon vines, 2 percent of Cabernet Franc, and 38 percent in Merlot. Naturally, the percentage of Cabernet or Merlot in the composition of each vintage depends on the climate which favors one grape variety or the other. Support the show Like the Show? Christi, Alex & The Crisis of the Mink Coat!

Send us a text Christi & Alex are at it again, this time with a classic American "rags to riches" success story! However, like so many stories, it was not all wine & roses, but hard work, determination & the unshakeable confidence of one man that almost destroyed a family. And somewhere in there, two brothers found themselves in the middle of vineyard, screaming and coming close to blows over a mink coat. THIS is what makes wine so interesting! So Pop in the Earbuds, Pour yourself a Glass, & let's Drink Something AMAZING! . . . . . . . It was the first major winery built in Napa Valley in the three decades following the repeal of Prohibition, Robert Mondavi Winery created the foundation for the modern-day California wine industry.  Mondavi chose to situate his estate next to To Kalon Vineyard, one of the most coveted wine growing parcels in the world, known for producing award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon and for its Sauvignon Blanc. The first vintage (1966) of Robert Mondavi Winery's Cabernet Sauvignon is released. A shot heard throughout the Valley, it would inspire the waves of pioneers to follow. In time, the path Robert Mondavi cleared would lead to the creation of some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignons, Chardonnays, Merlots and Sauvignon Blancs in the world. Support the show Like the Show?
