I’m back! In episode #157 of Cylinder Radio, I’m talking to Corey DeAngelis who is an author, researcher and school choice advocate, working with organisations such as American Federation for Children, Educational Freedom Institute, Cato Institute and the Reason Foundation.
During the episode, we speak about the importance of implementing free school choice movement and the positive effects it can have on student outcomes, teacher satisfaction and overall educational success. We discuss why the public school sector is failing our students today and how it has become the US’ biggest monopoly. We talk about why people might have apprehensions and what is currently being done (and what you can do!) to help move the needle towards a better education system for all.

In episode #156 of Cylinder Radio, I speak with organisational educator and friend of mine, Tuli Skaist about how we can approach the Isreal-Palestine conflict with more nuance, empathy and understanding. 
Tuli shares his personal story and perspective on the conflict, coming from an ultra-orthodox Jewish background and having spent many years of his life growing up and working in Isreal. We talk about the long and confusing history of the land as well as the conflicts and wars that have been fought for the last 100 years until the modern day. Despite the difficulty, we try to map out a way forward that is founded on grace, understanding and a desire for long-lasting peace.

In this solo episode of Cylinder Radio, I delve into a topic that I've been thinking about a lot lately: navigating comment sections on social media. I explore the different ways that I choose to actively engage with comments. I address the lack of humility and arrogance that people convey in comments as well as the insults and personal attacks that seem to be the norm for almost any online landscape today. In episode #154 of Cylinder Radio, I talk to my friend David Casler. David is a marine, a breath work & trauma coach and psychonaut (for his interests and use of psychedelics and plant medicines). 
During the conversation, we spoke about his background in the military and being blown up led to a traumatic brain injury that altered the course of his life forever. We talked about his journey with psychedelics and breathwork and how these practices benefited him personally. We also discussed the future of psychedelics and how they can/can't help people on a larger scale.

In this episode, I speak with former CIA case officer Art Keller about conspiracy theories. Today, Art is a freelance journalist, commentator and author, being published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, CBS, and many more. There are few things that get as much attention on my social media platforms as conspiracy theories so I’m excited to have had the chance to pick Art’s brain on the topic.
During the episode, we speak about questions such as: What kind of people does the CIA look for? And how did Art end up in the CIA? He shares his personal experience with the Iraq invasion as well as his perspective on a variety of different “conspiracy theories” such as the deep state, Jeffrey Epstein, 9/11 and the JFK assassination. Lastly, we discuss what people can do to test conspiracy theories for themselves.

For this episode, I thought I would sit down and do a solo episode since that is what a lot of people seem to have been asking for. I want to take on current topics that are relevant or controversial and do a deep dive to highlight different perspectives and viewpoints on said topics. 
For today, I thought I’d start with the concept of the deep state because that always gets people talking. In the episode, I covered questions like what or who is the deep state and whether the deep state is just normal human nature. I do a deep dive into Trump and how he has affected our nation’s perception of the deep state. I talk about how the anti-establishment has changed drastically over the last few decades and how we can move forward towards a less corrupt future.
