What could make Brunch better? A good Binge Watch! Brunch Binge is a film review podcast where each month the hosts binge movies within a certain theme. We’ll visit things old, new, strange, controversial- whatever fits the scope of the binge. Binge themes are provided by the hosts and are put into the Wheel of Binge to be selected at random. Once a theme is chosen, each host( and listeners) pick one film in the theme for us to watch and discuss for a total of three films per theme. So, grab a mimosa and listen to three unqualified film critics talk about film for an hour or so with a good brunch plate because, what’s better than that?

    Movies With a Character that Finally Chooses Themselves | The First Wives Club, Carrie and Life

    Welcome BACK to the party! Grab your drink and join us for another Brunch Binge.  This episode, we’re diving into the theme: Movies With a Character that Finally Chooses Themselves As always, the theme was chosen by our wheel (stacked with ideas from us), and each of us brought a movie to the table that we felt fit (sometimes perfectly… sometimes questionably). For this episode, we’re discussing: The First Wives Club (1996) – chosen by Jimmy Carrie (1976) – chosen by Jeannette Life (1999) – chosen by Winston We each break down our picks, share reactions, ask probably too many questions, and try to figure out what these movies are actually saying about the theme. Then we bring it all together by comparing notes, choosing our favorite of the episode, rating them and wrapping it all up with our final thesis on Movies With a Character That Finally Chooses Themselves.     Brunch Binge: Blood Brunch - True Blood Season 7

    Welcome BACK to the Party! Grab yourself a nice drink and join us for our Brunch Binge! It's Blood Brunch time AGAIN(Finally)! Saddle up and join us down in Bon Temps for our binge of HBO's True Blood. Accents, Vampires, Sex and Mysteries! The only thing that makes this better is that we talk about it all over some drinks and occasionally food. The Brunch Binge Trio is back after some time apart. We're in new places as we've changed, the world has changed and soon the podcase will change too. But before Brunch Binge 2.0 takes flight, we're going back to Bon Temps! We put on our best Louisiana accents, pour a couple of drinks and do something a little different.  Jeannette and Winston will try their best to recall Season 7 to Jimmy who only watched a select number of episodes, which good on him. We discuss the absolute mess of season 7 including the shocking deaths, the rushed romances and the places these characters we've sorta loved end up. We put on our best Louisiana accents, pour a couple of drinks and do something a little different.  Jeannette and Winston will try their best to recall Season 6 to Jimmy who only watched a select number of episodes, which good on him. We discuss the Warlow of it all, the Vampire-in-prison plot that made us "ugh" and meet "Billith".     Blood Brunch Episode 15 - True Blood - S5 - Eps 9-12

    Welcome to the Party! Grab yourself a nice drink and join us for our Brunch Binge!It's Blood Brunch time! Saddle up and join us down in Bon Temps for our binge of HBO's True Blood. Accents, Vampires, Sex and Mysteries! The only thing that makes this better is that we talk about it all over some drinks and occasionally food.   Why should we trust Salami? What's the deal with the smoke monster? Should LaFayette have his own medium type spinoff? We're so excited to take a deep dive into a world where Vampires have "come out of the coffin" and want to live among us. After learning our lesson with our last bingecast that took two years to get through, we're excited to take a more relaxed approach and just enjoy all of the pretty and zany sights in this small town. We put on our best Louisiana accents, pour a couple of drinks and discuss the Season Five episodes 9-12, in which a rocky season of smoke monsters, literal blood cults and more Russell Edgington comes to an end.
