    Episode 04 - Gender equality

    NDI Politics Podcast's forth episode focuses on gender equality and women's political participation in Georgia. While the constitution ensures equal rights and opportunities for both men and women, women continue to face multiple cultural and societal barriers in many aspects of life. According to NDI polls, majority of Georgians believe that there is no gender equality in the country and would like to see more women in politics and think that this would have positive impact on Georgia's society. To explore this subject, our guests are Tamara Chugoshvili, first vice-speaker of Parliament of Georgia, Elene Khostaria from European Georgia, Ana Arganashvili, a lawyer and child activists and NDI's very own, Teona Kupunia, gender expert.

    We are back with the third episode. Today’s podcast will focus on the environment. According to NDI’s public opinion polls, pollution of the environment is quickly becoming a top concern for Georgians. In Tbilisi, 50% list it as the most important issue in their community. Here to explore this subject today are two distinguished guests and members of parliament’s environmental committee: Kakha Kuchava, Georgian Dream MP, and Tina Bokuchava, United National Movement MP.
