When it comes to Jesus, we can easily wonder, “How can I have confidence in him?” Thankfully, the apostle John wrote his letter of 1 John to people facing similar uncertainties. In this Rest·Awe Youth Talk, we began our new series in 1 John by seeing that confidence in the real Jesus leads to fellowship, joy, and a faith that stands firm in a world full of fakes.     We’re all thirsty for something. We long for peace, love, belonging, purpose...But too often we run to the wrong wells: approval, relationships, success, or scrolling endlessly on our phones. They promise life but leave us empty. In John 4, a woman comes to a well, thirsty and weighed down by shame. Jesus meets her there and offers her living water that truly satisfies. This week at Rest·Awe Youth, we explored what it means to stop chasing satisfaction from empty wells and instead come to Jesus for the eternal life only He can give.
