    Is Roman Catholicism A False Religion?

    In approaching this question, one must examine whether the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church align with the authoritative Word of God or whether they stand in opposition to it. This episode will therefore analyze key doctrinal issues—such as justification, authority, the sacraments, and the role of Mary and the saints—in light of Scripture. The goal is not to attack individuals within the Roman Church, many of whom are sincere in their devotion, but to test the system itself against the truth revealed in God’s Word. For if the gospel is distorted, then eternal souls are at stake.

    Charlie Kirk: The Temptation of Emotional Affinity

    DISCLOSURE: While a 2019 video of Charlie Kirk and Rod Smith shows Charlie defending gay Christianity, a 2024 video suggests that Charlie's views on this issue took a turn. In 2024 he clearly condemns the practice and quotes Leviticus 18 an 20 while doing so. I took the episode down until I located evidence that Charlie held the orthodox Christian view on homosexuality. In this episode of The Reformed Rant,I take a few moments to reflect on the life, influence, and legacy of Charlie Kirk and his work with Turning Point USA. With his recent passing, emotions are high, and responses have been pouring in from across the political and religious spectrum.I want to praise God for the good that has come—and will continue to come—through Charlie’s bold contributions to the conservative movement and to the broader Church of God. His courage to speak truth in thepublic square and engage young minds in the cultural arena is not to be taken lightly. At the same time, I would like to urge you, the listener, to keep your critical thinking cap firmlyin place. As we reflect on someone’s legacy, we must be careful not to let our affections cloud our discernment. Affirm the good—but do not ignore the concerns. Truth never calls us to compromise. And in honoring those who have gone before us, we must always remember that our highest allegiance is toChrist and His Word. So join me as I offer my thoughts—not just in tribute, but in truth.
