I love this podcast. Well-packaged and well-presented, each episode transports you back in time to another era. The program format provides the listener with a sense of news “as it happened”. I’m a student of history and I love the 1960s, but I have picked up numerous fascinating tidbits that I never knew. I highly recommend Real Time 1960’s.

What a great podcast! Very reminiscent of old school radio stories with great modern sound and the ability to draw you in and make you not want to stop listening. I'm super happy that I stumbled upon it. Keep up the great work guys!

...and my parents would get cassette tapes and we’d listen to audio dramas on long trips. But ya know, this show is for adults :) enjoyed the heck out of the ones I’ve listened to so far, and looking forward to more.

A really fun way to experience stories you might have already read. Fabulous actors, incredible sound production-you can tell all involved are seriously passionate about the product, and it kicking butt! A joy to spend time with, and can’t wait for MORE!

Full disclosure: we discovered Gotham Variety when searching for other podcasters to connect with and support. But boy are we glad we connected with them! While most people think about non-fiction podcasts first...we're always here for a good story and especially a drama. Great production and interesting stories make this podcast a MUST listen if you're looking for something more than your average podcast but aren't ready to commit to an audio book just yet. Definitely give it a listen!
