Interesting Mix
Five Episodes In: This episodic narrative Audio Drama with a cool LGBT edge pairs something the author seems very familiar with ... running marathons ... with the completely unknown ... fantasy trips to very different worlds. The main character must use her wits and charisma, creativity, and a bit of magic to survive. There are sound effects and good dialog editing, but some of the voice work sounds a bit tinny (doesn’t detract much, but some listeners can be very picky about those things). I wish the episodes were a bit more completed, and a plot thread through the episodes would make the show more engaging. Though it’s enjoyable I’m a bit left wondering what’s the point. Maybe future episodes will develop those aspects tho!
