Real Life Real Crime | Monsters Part 2: Monsters Part 2: Inside the Crime Scene Reboot

Part 2 of the Monsters series continues the Holy Week re-release of this raw and unedited case. Woody describes the step-by-step process of documenting and processing a homicide scene, emphasizing the importance of photographing, collecting, and preserving every piece of evidence. Inside the home, investigators uncover multiple key details, including blood patterns indicating repeated violence, a partially burned condom wrapper, cocaine on a table, and a gun cabinet that has been emptied. These findings raise immediate questions about motive, suspects, and whether the scene was altered after the attack. As interviews begin, conflicting statements and emotional reactions from family members add complexity to the case. When a witness reports seeing a key individual in Mississippi shortly after the murder, investigators begin focusing their efforts on tracking his movements and uncovering the truth. Real Life Real Crime | Monsters Part 1: The Beginning Reboot

This Holy Week, Real Life Real Crime goes old school with the re-release of Monsters, a raw and unedited series that longtime Lifers may remember and newer listeners may be hearing for the first time. Woody explains why this week matters personally to him and why this series is being brought back during one of the slowest weeks in podcasting. This is the original RAW and UNEDITED audio. In Part 1, Woody takes listeners back to November 15, 2006, when he was called to a home in Watson, Louisiana, while working as a detective with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. What he found inside would become one of the most haunting crime scenes of his career. As he describes the layout of the house, the overwhelming amount of blood, and the first steps of the investigation, it becomes clear this case is unlike anything most listeners have ever heard. This episode also includes Woody’s original updates from that time period, including mentions of ongoing justice efforts and announcements that were part of the original release. Because this is a re-release, those references remain as part of the raw episode audio. Listener discretion is strongly advised. True Crime Time For March 28, 2026 | DUI Death, Missing Teen Found & Freezer Murder Case

What happens when one decision—or one missed opportunity—changes everything? In this episode of True Crime Time, Cyndi covers the tragic death of a 96-year-old man killed by a wrong-way driver in Florida, just hours after the driver had been stopped and released by law enforcement. The case raises serious questions about judgment, accountability, and how preventable tragedies can unfold. We also dive into a powerful success story where a missing Ohio teenager was safely recovered in Florida after a multi-state investigation involving the FBI and local law enforcement. At the same time, another case out of Texas highlights system failures, where a repeat offender was released multiple times before committing a deadly shooting. Other cases include a devastating road rage incident that killed an 11-year-old child, a gruesome Louisiana murder where a woman’s dismembered remains were found in a freezer, and violent crimes involving teenagers that continue to show the dangers of escalation and poor decision-making. From cold realities to moments of relief, this episode underscores the importance of awareness, intervention, and justice for victims and their families.  ⏱ Chapters (Riverside / Apple / Spotify)00:00 – Intro + Woody update + sponsor mention02:00 – This Day in History (Jerry Brudos case)07:00 – DUI manslaughter (Florida wrong-way crash)15:00 – Missing teen found (Ohio to Florida case)20:30 – Repeat offender murder (Texas case)27:00 – Worldwide crime (UK manslaughter case)33:00 – Road rage child death (Nevada case)40:00 – Freezer murder (Louisiana case)47:00 – Teen violence (Kentucky shooting case)52:00 – Closing + announcementstrue crime podcast, DUI manslaughter case, wrong way crash Florida, missing teen found FBI, repeat offender crime, road rage shooting child, freezer murder Louisiana, violent crime news, Real Life Real Crime, Cyndi Overton, true crime daily Investigative Producer: Leah Marie Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/real-life-real-crime/donations Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

True Crime Time For March 25, 2026 | Death Row Case, Wedding Arrest, Texas Burglar & Police Shooting

What would make someone torture and kill another person for over an hour—and then fight to avoid execution decades later? In today’s episode, Woody breaks down the disturbing case of Krista Gail Pike, one of the most brutal female killers in modern U.S. history, as Tennessee prepares to carry out her death sentence. The conversation dives into the legal battle over lethal injection, accountability, and what justice really looks like for victims and their families. We also cover a bizarre “wedding day arrest” where a groom is taken into custody moments before saying “I do,” after allegedly falsifying his marriage license to hide his status as a registered sex offender. Plus, a Houston burglar nicknamed “Spider-Man” is finally caught after a string of break-ins, and a Louisiana man is sentenced for crimes involving a minor. In a deeper discussion, Woody unpacks a controversial police shooting in Texas that resulted in a deputy being charged with murder, raising serious questions about use of force, training, and split-second decisions in the field.
