On Mission Together | Acts: The Church on the Move | Acts 15:36–16:5

In Acts 15:36–16:5, Paul and Barnabas prepare to return and strengthen the churches, but a sharp disagreement over John Mark leads them to separate. Even in this difficult moment, the mission of the gospel continues as Paul chooses Silas, Barnabas takes Mark, and Timothy joins the work. This passage reminds us that being on mission together does not mean we will never face conflict, make hard decisions, or sacrifice personal rights for the sake of others. Yet through it all, God continues to strengthen His church and grow His people.📖 Scripture: Acts 15:36–16:5🙌 Main Idea: Even on mission together we will have personality conflicts and a need to sacrifice for others. But it’s all worth it when the Church grows and is strengthened.🕊️ In this message, we see:• A shared vision and mission do not guarantee that everyone will get along• Gospel mission may require hard decisions• Believers must be willing to sacrifice personal rights for the sake of others• God can continue His work even through conflict• The result of sacrifice and faithful obedience is a strengthened church📌 Homework: Read Psalm 96:1–13 using this pattern: Read, Reflect, Respond, and Rest.Join us as we study what it means to stay faithful, sacrifice for others, and remain on mission together for the strengthening of the Church.#Acts15 #ChurchOnTheMove #ProblemSolvingDoneRight #HolySpirit #BiblicalLeadership #ChurchUnity #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #ActsSeries #BereanFamily

  6. Faith, Freedom, and Brotherly Love | Galatians: Church on the Move | Galatians 5:1–15

Faith, Freedom, and Brotherly Love | Galatians: Church on the Move | Galatians 5:1–15

In Galatians 5:1–15, the Apostle Paul reminds believers that Christ has set His people free—not to return to slavery, but to walk in faith, freedom, and love. As false teachers attempted to lead the Galatian churches back under the burden of the law, Paul passionately calls them to stand firm in the gospel of grace and reject any message that adds human effort to salvation. This passage reveals that faith alone in Christ alone produces two things the enemy hates: true freedom in Christ and genuine brotherly love among believers. Paul warns that the Christian life is a spiritual battle where false teaching constantly threatens to distort the gospel and rob believers of the freedom Christ purchased for them. Yet the freedom found in Christ is not freedom to sin—it is freedom to joyfully serve and love one another.📖 Scripture: Galatians 5:1–15🙌 Main Idea: Faith alone in Christ alone brings about two things the enemy hates: freedom in Christ and brotherly love.🕊️ In this message, we see:• How Christ has set believers free from the slavery of sin and the law• Why the gospel of grace has always been under attack• The danger of false teaching and spiritual compromise• The importance of standing firm in biblical truth• How genuine faith expresses itself through brotherly love and servicePaul reminds the church that freedom in Christ is not an excuse for sinful living, but a call to serve one another in love. The gospel transforms both our relationship with God and our relationship with others. As believers walk in the freedom Christ provides, the world sees the love and unity that mark true followers of Jesus.🔗 Learn more at bereanfamily.comAbout Us – https://bereanfamily.com/start-here/im-new/Plan Your Visit – https://bereanfamily.com/visit/Messages – https://bereanfamily.com/sermons/🎙️ Series: Galatians: Church on the Move#Galatians5 #FreedomInChrist #BrotherlyLove #FaithAlone #GraceAlone #BereanFamily #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #StandFirm #GalatiansSeries

God’s Way Leads to Blessing | Galatians: Church on the Move | Galatians 4:21–31

In Galatians 4:21–31, the Apostle Paul uses the historical account of Sarah, Hagar, Isaac, and Ishmael to illustrate the difference between slavery under the law and the freedom found through faith in Christ. Paul reminds believers that God’s promises are fulfilled not through human effort or self-reliance, but through trusting Him and walking by faith.Through this powerful allegory, we see the danger of taking matters into our own hands instead of patiently trusting God’s timing and promises. Abraham and Sarah struggled to believe God would fulfill His word, leading to painful consequences when they attempted to accomplish God’s plan through human effort. Yet Paul points believers back to the gospel of grace—reminding us that justification comes by faith alone, not by works or religious performance.📖 Scripture: Galatians 4:21–31🙌 Main Idea: We must learn to be patient, trust God, and walk by faith.🕊️ In this message, we see:• The difference between slavery under the law and freedom through faith• Why taking matters into our own hands often leads to painful consequences• The importance of trusting God’s promises even when circumstances seem impossible• How faith in Christ alone brings peace, assurance, and blessing• The call for believers to walk by faith instead of relying on human effort or pridePaul reminds the church that those who belong to Christ are children of promise, not slaves. God’s way leads to blessing, freedom, and life. When we trust Him instead of ourselves, we can rest in His promises and walk confidently in the grace He provides.🔗 Learn more at bereanfamily.comAbout Us – https://bereanfamily.com/start-here/im-new/Plan Your Visit – https://bereanfamily.com/visit/Messages – https://bereanfamily.com/sermons/🎙️ Series: Galatians: Church on the Move#Galatians4 #FaithAlone #TrustGod #GodsPromises #BereanFamily #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #WalkByFaith #FreedomInChrist #GalatiansSeries
