MAEX ist nicht nur DJ, sondern auch Produzent und Betreiber seines eigenen Labels Kokolores Records. Viele Jahre lebte und arbeitete er als DJ auf Bali, wo er seinen Sound kontinuierlich weiterentwickelte und verfeinerte. Die Einflüsse dieser internationalen Clubkultur sind in seinem heutigen Stil deutlich hörbar. Aktuell lebt MAEX in Frankfurt und ist als Manager des Ocean Club am Frankfurter Flughafen tätig, der im Mai seine Eröffnung feiert. Eine spannende neue Aufgabe – aber die Leidenschaft für die Musik steht weiterhin im Mittelpunkt.
