I am fascinated by sharing stories of successful online creators who have built their brand from nothing, I find creators who are honest about their struggles, strategies, and shortcomings to be inspiring. I invite you to join me as I share the ideas, techniques, and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and success. I will attempt to discover and share the “secrets” to modern-day content creation success without any data collection, surveys or ‘how to’ videos. All of this in hopes of helping us both learn to succeed as a creator!

    End of a chapter - My journey as a streamer and coach!

    Ever heard of a stream coach? I was one, for a year, I also streamed full-time for 3 years. I met some amazing people and became obsessed with the idea of building an exciting new business in a space that could have seen some amazing things happen! However, I quickly became attracted to the idea of working towards creating a better experience but with that came the price of Twitter, a platform I grew to hate, more so in the streaming circles.  I've broken the episode down so that I can discuss this chapter of my life and keep it structured! I'll begin with what got me into streaming and how meeting one pivotal individual changed my life for the better and how it got me onto the path of helping other streamers develop their mindset and work towards a more successful strategy for their own content! I also wanted to talk about a previous guest and good friend Ashnichrist who was a big inspiration for discovering the world of online business and how she's also helped shape who I have become. Discussing also the attacks she's faced in trying to grow a business from the ground up and a space that has never seen something like it, therefore, it is ridiculed and misunderstood in a world where they're so much free information, how can we apply it in a structured manner? How we get people to interpret their own value as an individual and how they can wrap it up in a fantastic show for their consumers! My journey as a streamer is over, yet another begins! I'm still on a road of content creation, facing different platforms, pushing myself beyond my comfort zone and simply sharing it all over on YouTube, Podcasts & maybe soon to be Tik-Tok (maaaybe). I want to show the world an average-joe kinda guy can achieve any level of success and live a life worth living!

    0028: ft. KATNIPP - Building a 100k Art Business

    Welcome back to yet another episode of the content experience podcats. This week I'm bringing you the journey and experience of a widely loved artist and creator, aka, my boss and future sister-in-law Katnipp illustrations (Catherine Kay). She's always had the vision to work for herself, coming out of university she began a clothing business before moving onto to becoming a social media marketing agent at a friends business. This is when she founded Katnipp. Now Katnipp wasn't always pins & banners with YouTube content, it began as commission-based portrait business, operating locally at events, selling portraits and her services. In fact, she started out without even having an Instagram account!  When Katnipp started her Instagram journey it was agonizing, hours and hours of going through posts and hashtags to comment and like things and attempt to build genuine connections with those around her, which is surprisingly the only growth tactic that really still works on the platform... It was then in 2018 a cold December when Catherine began her YouTube channel and in a year has been lucky enough to hit 100k subscribers! To this day she's bringing home over 30k a year for a paycheck and investing thousands more into products and a team to help expand Katnipp into an empire. Which is where I come in... She opted to take me on as a freelancer to help package orders and develop the business. I've been there almost 6 months and it's one hell of a journey!

    0027: ft. SNOWSTOP - Is TikTok good for growth?

    Hey guys, welcome back to another podcast. We've all heard of TikTok and how it's for kids however more and more people are joining and becoming 'famous'. Well we're here to speak to someone who can help us answer the question... "Is TikTok good and useful for growth?" Well Introducing Stopstop, a streamer on Twitch who began his TikTok journey a few months ago. He has been consistently trying to make people laugh and posting weekly. He's had hundreds of thousands likes and views across his tik tok videos and we couldn't be happier! But he goes in depth to discuss if its helpful to use for growing your other channels such as Twitch or YouTube. The answer seems more difficult than it does simple. There's a lot of bits to consider when talking about how helpful it is such as your value you provide, seems tik tok has a main audience for comedy and how confident you are at portraying things on camera.

    Welcome back & Happy new year guys! In today's episode I welcome you back to the content experience where you can learn to stream and build your dream with a career you love to do. I know we've not updated an episode in some time so let me address that. Firstly, Ashleigh my Fiancée lost both her job and a family member towards the end of 2019 and I wanted to make sure she was ok, she's not been in the best frame of mind since and I always prioritize her in my life. After all she is becoming my wife in 2021... She now has a new job and is on the mend. I also wanted to just share my views and ideas on what you guys should be doing in 2020 to make sure you're maxamising income from streaming and/or content creation.

    0024: ft. Spofie - How to succeed streaming everyday!

    Welcome back, everybody!  It's been a short heckin' time since we've uploaded an episode. In today's episode, we're looking at someone who goes against the social 'norms' and has become a successful streamer by streaming everyday for over 2 years! Focusing on the Final Fantasy game series, Sofie, our guest, has built a following which expects her to be live every day. She even told us of a story in which she streamed the same day she has surgery! (and I thought me canceling due to a headache was bad?!). Streaming every day is a sure way to burn out for most, it is not a tactic I recommend for most, however, if you're a streamer of habit and like routine in your life it could be something worth trying.
