    Our Potential Winter Trip in a Week: All Our Ideas & Where We Chose to Go!

    A couple of months ago, we started looking into our first trip of 2027. I know, it feels early, but it's rushing toward us! We were looking into a budget-friendly trip that is 1) about 1 week long and 2) great for a mid-winter visit. And we found quite a few places! There were some we were heavily considering before finally coming to a conclusion on where we're going. This includes anything from a National park road trip to even Egypt! So we decided to make a podcast episode to share places we found, itinerary ideas, and why we ultimately didn't choose them.     Perfect Day Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada

    Recently, we FINALLY took a day trip to Niagara Falls in Canada! While you can visit Niagara Falls in both the US (in Niagara Falls, New York) and Canada (in Niagara Falls, Ontario), we opted to explore the falls on the Canadian side and made a day of it! Niagara Falls is only 3.5 hours from our home in Cleveland, so we woke up early, explored the falls, did a boat ride, visited the old Niagara Parks Power Station + The Tunnel, and even hiked in Niagara Glen.
