Crime Connect - Case Discussions

Just listened to the Gannon episode great insight I love it

The sound quality is poor. Also the conversation is all over the place. It’s also very lengthy. I don’t normally mind the length if I’m intrigued, but I became bored early on. Forgive me for saying so, just felt “low budget”. The two girls talking back and forth and fading in and out, background noise and sidebar conversations, not being able to find their notes and flipping through paper... lots of fumbling. Not very professional, if that’s the right word? Voice, tone, language, a timeline, and organization is big with podcasts like this, personally for me anyway.

Unlike other true crime podcasts, they seem to get really far off topic in several directions. Podcast wasn't as focused on the case and the facts as I would have hoped for.

Unfortunately, this is the only podcast I was able to find concerning Tamla Horsford and I’m disappointed to say the least. The podcast starts off speaking in general of the case; the autopsy report, toxicology reports, devil’s advocate of how she “fell”, how she sustained the injuries. Then it turns into a witch hunt for Tamla’s friends & family. They accuse them of making “over the top” accusations of racism and suggest that the accusations are made for monetary gain. The fact that the attendees of the party has made contradictory statements, including admitting that Tamla did not fall was brushed over. The podcasts hosts seem more sympathetic towards the attendees of the party vs the victim & the victim’s family. It all seems very insensitive to the victim who lost her life & left behind a family and friends. And let’s not even start on the poor quality of the episode.
