012: Mistakes You Must Avoid When Working With Brands | Jessica McAlister
Let me be clear, if you're interested in landing more paid collaborations with brands (and agencies) that you've worked for in the past, then this episode is a must-listen!
This is a much-needed episode for all social media influencers who are currently working with brands, and definitely for those who have been collaborating with brands for only a few years now.
We all need to know how to work with brands in a way that's going to help us succeed in the future. And, Jessica lets us know the inside scoop of what not to do when working with brands and what to do.
Jessica McAlister is the owner of a successful talent agency out in Los Angeles, CA where she's had the pleasure of working with both brands and influencers to carry out campaigns, which has taught her a lot given the experience she's had working on both sides of the fence.
Learn what makes you attractive to brands & agencies to where they can't wait to work with you again and pay you, even more, the next time around. This episode is a great opportunity to increase your income as an influencer and live your dream as a social media influencer, blogger or whatever you like to call yourself! :)

010: Why You Should Start Treating Your Social Media Followers Like Real People | Scott Eddy
In this podcast episode, we learn the import of what it is to see everyone on social media as humans, and not just another comment or direct message in our inbox. It was an absolute pleasure interviewing Mr. Scott Eddy. He really opened up my eyes and helped me realize the importance of seeing my Instagram followers, Facebook fans, etc., like actual people.
He stresses the importance of humanizing your attack on social media and approaching it as an opportunity to engage and connect with real people who've shown an interest in you. Instead of focusing on the ways you can monetize and gain more followers for your own benefit.
Honestly, Scott has been one of the most "real" and unapologetically honest guests I've interviewed to date and I couldn't be more excited to take what I've learned from him today and apply it immediately myself.
009: Master The Art of Working With Brands To Earn More As An Influencer | Catherine Wagner
In this episode, we have Catherine Wagner (also known as Catherine "Wanders") who is a top fashion, travel, and lifestyle social media influencer. But, what makes her special and unique from the other is that she's the owner of a digital agency working with influencers to bring them more partnerships with brands.
I really pick Catherine's brain on what it's like to work with influencers from the perspective of an agency. Asking detailed questions such as, what do the brand agency's consider annoying (pet-peeves) when working with influencers?
Catherine is successful on both sides of the game, as an influence & brand agency! With this knowledge she was able to share a lot of detailed insight that will save you from losing brand collaborations & looking like an amateur social media influencer when you're expected to produce like a professional!
