As a mother and now as a grandmother, I like telling moral stories to children. But I believe moral stories should also evolve with time. For today's children, we should educate them about their environment around them in a way that they can relate with. For instance, stories of kings and kingdoms might not necessarily be relevant anymore. New stories need to be told in a new style.     ఇండోనేసియా అడవుల నుండి ప్రాణాలు కాపాడుకోవటానికి వేరే దేశపు పెద్ద అడవికి పారిపోయి వచ్చిన కోతుల గుంపును అడ్డుకున్న కొత్త దేశపు అడవి కోతులు, కొత్త కోతుల్ని రాజు దర్బార్ కు బందీ గా తీసుకు వెళ్ళాయి.కోతుల నాయకుడు వాలి  వంట నూనె పంట అయిన పామాయిల్  చెట్ల పెంపకం ,నూనె తయారు పద్ధతులతో మరియు పామాయిల్ పెంపకం కోసం కట్ చేస్తున్న అడవులు, అడవి జంతువుల జీవితాలు ,అడవులు గాలి నీరు పర్యావరణం పరిసరాలు చివరికి మనుషుల furure ఎంతటి ప్రమాదం లో పడుతుంది చెప్పాడు.అంతే కాదు ప్రపంచం లోనే పెద్ద కార్బన్ సింక్ అయిన తమ దేశం ఎలా క్లైమేట్ చేంజ్ కి కారణం అవుతుంది చెప్పాడు. అంతే కాదు మనిషి స్వార్ధం  తగ్గించుకుని వనరులను సంరక్షించడం చేస్తే అందరికీ మంచిది అంటూ ఒక విన్నపం రిక్వెస్ట్ లెటర్ ను పావురం తో పంపి జవాబు కోసం ఆశగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు ఈ కథ లో.     చిన్నారి ప్రకృతి కి నేచర్ అంటే చాల చాల ఇష్టం. గలగలా పారె నదులు ,నురుగుల కక్కే సముద్రాలు ,మంచు పర్వతాలు ,అడవి, చెట్లు ,ఏనుగు మంకీ చిలుక చేపలు ఒకటి కాదు నేచర్ lo ఉండేవి అన్ని ప్రకృతి కి నేస్తాలు. వాటికి ఫీలింగ్స్ ఉంటాయని అంటుంది. చెట్లు కటింగ్ వద్దు , నీరు నేల ట్రాష్ తో నింపొద్దు అంటుంది.పచ్చని ప్రకృతి క్లీన్.గాలి నీరు కావాలి ,జంతువుల ను మన ఫన్ కోసం హార్ట్ చేయకూడదు అంది. ప్రకృతి కి ఎలాంటి పర్యావరణ కావాలి ? విందామా.  (Prakruti loves nature. She loved everything about nature from flowing rivers, frothing seas, snow mountains, jungle, trees, elephants, monkeys, parrots, fish and more. She was always fascinated by nature. She says that they all have feelings. She always says not to cut trees, don't fill land and seas with trash and to keep nature clean and to not hurt animals for fun.     సముద్రాలను ఎందుకు క్లీన్ గా ఉంచాలి? అవి క్లీన్ గ లేకపోతే మనకి నష్టం ఏమిటి? అని అడిగిన పిల్లలకు అమ్మమ్మ సముద్రాలను శుభ్రం గా క్లీన్ గా ఎందుకు ఉంచాలి. పర్యావరణ లో సముద్రాలు కూడ ఒక ఇంపార్టెంట్ రోల్ ప్లే చేస్తాయన్నారు. మరి క్లీన్ సీస్ అని ఎందుకు.స్లొగన్స్ రాస్తున్నారు? ఎవరు చెప్పారు సముద్రాన్ని క్లీన్ గా ఉంచాలని మళ్ళీ అడిగారు పిల్లలు. 2017 ఇండోనేసియా లోని బాలీ ద్వీపం లో ప్రపంచ పర్యావరణ శాస్త్రవేత్తలు ప్రభుత్వాలు ప్రజలు కలిసి క్లీన్ సీస్ అనే ఉద్యమం స్టార్ట్ చేశారట.UNEP start చేసింది.ప్రస్తుతం 62+ coastal countries సభ్యులట. సముద్రాలు మనకి ఎప్పుడు అవసరం ముఖ్యమే.వాటి మీద ఆధారపడి మనుషులు, పక్షులు ,చేపలు,తాబేళ్లు ఇంకా ఎన్నో marine life బతుకుతుంది. అలాంటి సముద్రం లో ట్రాష్ వేస్తే? సముద్రం శుభ్రం గా ఉంచాలంటే ఏమిచెయ్యాలి? పర్యావరణం నీ కాపాడితే climate ki మనకి లాభం అని అమ్మమ్మ చెప్పిన విషయాలు విందామా.  (Why should we keep the seas clean? What is the harm if they are not clean? children asked their grandmother. She told them how seas and oceans play an important role in the environment. Humans, fish, turtles, and many other marine animals are all dependent on seas. What will happen if we put our trash in the seas? It will help the climate if we protect the environment, said grandmother. Then why are there slogans called "Clean Seas" and who told that seas should be cleaned? asked children again. Grandmother told them that in 2017, in Bali, Indonesia, scientists, environmentalists, governments, got together and with help of UNEP came up with clean seas campaign.     అడవి జంతువుల్లో ప్రత్యేకం గా కనబడే నలుపు తెలుపు చారల జీబ్రా  చిన్నారి అవ్యాన్ కల లోకి వచ్చి చెప్పిన కబుర్లు విందామా. జీబ్రా ల్లో ఉండే రకాలు.వాటి చారలు మన వేలి ముద్రల్లా unique గా ఉంటాయట. జీబ్రా కీ శత్రువులు వున్నారు తెలుసా? వాటి సెల్ఫ్ డిఫెన్స్ పద్ధతులు motion dazzle వాటి ఫ్యామిలీ, ఫుడ్ గురించి తెలుసుకుందాము.అంతే కాదు మనిషి చేస్తున్న పనుల వల్ల పాపం జీబ్రా కి ఎలాంటి పర్యావరణ ఇబ్బందులు వస్తున్నాయి తెలుసా?   జీబ్రా అంతరించి పోకుండా ఎలా కాపాడాలి Climate change జీబ్రా కీ ఇబ్బందే కదా.(Among wild animals, the striped Zebra is very beautiful.     సెలవల్లో అమ్మమ్మ  ఇంటికి వచ్చిన పిల్లలు ఇంటి ముందుకు వచ్చిన ఒంటె సవారీ ఎక్కి తిరిగి ఆనందపడ్డారు.  దిగిన తర్వాత కూడ ఒంటె సవారీ కబుర్లే. లంచ్ తర్వాత అమ్మమ్మ నీ ఒంటె  గురించి తెలుసా?అని అడిగారు.తెలుసు అని ఒంటె కబుర్లు చెప్పటం స్టార్ట్ చేశారు.అంతా విన్నాక  పిల్లలకు climate change తో మనుషులకే కష్టాలు,ఒంటెలకు ఇబ్బందులు ఉన్నాయా? అని అనుమానం వచ్చింది. పర్యావరణం పరిసరాలు జీవ వైవిధ్యం  లో ఒంటెల ప్లేస్ వాటికీ మానవ తప్పిదాలు వల్ల ఎదురవుతున్న ఇబ్బందులు తెలియాలంటే ఈ కథ వినండి. (Children who came to grandmother's home for summer holidays felt happy after riding a camel that came near their home.They continued to talk about camel even after getting down and wanted to know more and asked their grandmother about it after lunch.
