    Jesus: The Exclusive Messiah

    In week 14 of 'The Case for Biblical Literacy' series, Pastor Kevin Cain preaches one of the most direct messages of the year: One Lamb, One Door, All Peoples. Everyone has received an invitation, he says, but there is only one door, and it is Jesus. Drawing on 1 John 5, he walks through seven steps of Scripture: God covering Adam & Eve with the first blood sacrifice in Eden; Abraham's promise that God would provide the lamb in Genesis 22; the Passover lamb, with one law for the native-born and the sojourner alike; the bronze serpent lifted up in Numbers 21; Jesus' claims to be equal with God in John 5 & 8; and the promise to draw all people to Himself. The message ends where the early church stood in Acts 4:12, declaring that "there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." Pastor Kevin pairs this unflinching truth with real love, using his own family's table with relatives raised in Iran as an example of how believers can disagree without being disagreeable.     The Prophets Pointing to Messiah

    In week thirteen of 'The Case for Biblical Literacy' series, Pastor Kevin Cain starts & ends on the road to Emmaus. In Luke 24, the risen Jesus opened His disciples' eyes "beginning with Moses and all the prophets," which means He revealed Himself through a Bible study of the Old Testament. Pastor Kevin then follows six steps of fulfilled prophecy: Jesus' birth, which Matthew ties to Isaiah, Micah, Hosea, and Jeremiah; John the Baptist as the forerunner Isaiah and Malachi foretold; Zechariah breaking 400 years of silence; Simeon and John as two witnesses; Jesus' life fulfilling Psalm 69, Ezekiel 34, and Isaiah 56; and the crucifixion playing out Psalm 22 line by line. Citing the mathematical odds against even eight messianic prophecies coming true in one person, he argues that faith is validated by the reliability of what we believe, not by how passionately we believe it.     Spiritual Sounds Week 3 | October 18, 2026

    In the final week of the Spiritual Sounds series, Pastor Daniel Strosnider turns the focus to your sound. He begins with 1 Samuel 16:23, where David's harp brought relief to a tormented King Saul, and Psalm 22:3, which says God is enthroned upon the praises of His people. Drawing on John 17 & the life of the Trinity, he unpacks a striking idea: God doesn't need our worship to be glorious, and He never forces it, because love doesn't demand its own way. Worship is the free response of a child who knows the Father loves to be among His people. Through 2 Chronicles 20, where Judah's singers marched ahead of the army and God won the battle before they ever saw it, he reminds us that their praise didn't make God powerful. It declared that He already was.     Spiritual Sounds, Week 2 | October 11, 2026

    In week two of his 'Spiritual Sounds' sermon series, Pastor Daniel Strosnider turns to 2 Kings 3:15-20 — where Elisha calls for a musician, and as the harp plays, the hand of the Lord comes upon him — to reveal a profound truth: worship doesn't manipulate God into speaking, it positions us to hear the God who already is speaking. Walking through the sounds of manifestation, deliverance, victory, restoration, and abundance throughout Scripture, Pastor Daniel draws a crucial distinction between noise that is forced to manipulate and sound that is discerned through surrender — because sometimes God has to quiet what is in you before He changes what is around you. Centering on the command to fill a dry valley with ditches, he reminds us that the ditch is never the miracle, the water is: obedience doesn't create God's provision, it creates the capacity to hold it.     Spiritual Sounds | October 4, 2026

    In the opening message of a new sermon series – Spiritual Sounds – Pastor Daniel Strosnider takes us to 1 Kings 18:41-45, where Elijah declares he hears the sound of the abundance of rain after three and a half years of drought, to reveal that God often prepares His people for what He is about to do through a 'sound' before they ever see it. Walking through the biblical sounds of the shofar, thunder, the mighty wind of Acts 2, and the still small voice; Pastor Daniel unpacks the Hebrew posture of Baruch worship — head below the heart, so the mind can't talk you out of what your spirit already knows — and the faithfulness of a servant who ran seven times before seeing a cloud the size of a man's hand. With raw passion, he reminds us that the small cloud was never the fulfillment, only the evidence that fulfillment had begun, and that sometimes you have to kill the idols in your life before you can hear the rain of God.     Exile & Return | September 20, 2026
