#28 - Interview with Dr. Emek Blair: Study shows new liposomal delivery technology dramatically increases absorption of CBD (part 2)

In this episode of CONNECTED with Mika we're discussing: While dietary supplements and herbs have many significant health benefits, all products are not created equal. Many active ingredients are destroyed and not absorbed after consumption. In this episode, Mika interviews the award-winning chemist, Dr. Emek Blair as he explains how his Cellg8 patented liposomal delivery technology is raising the bar to transform the way dietary and medicinal products are produced and the rate at which they are absorbed. Dr. Blair shares with us how he has applied this technology to the world of CBD using a solventless, CO2 extraction producing a full spectrum CBD product taken from the ariel parts of the Hemp plant.   Dr. Emek Blair is the founder and developer of CELLg8®, a patented all-natural liposomal manufacturing process which more plainly spoken is a nutrient delivery system that has been shown to dramatically increase absorption of most vitamins, minerals, herbs, and cannabinoids. CELLg8 technology has been shown to dramatically increase the absorption of nutrient actives - up to 20x higher than regular supplements and 10x higher than any other formula on the market. Dr. Blair has been published in five medical journals including The American Journal of Endocannabinoid Medicine and The Journal of the American Chemical Society and has formulated upwards of 100 unique liposomal formulas that have successfully been brought to market by some of the largest brands in the world. #25 - 7 Minute Reality Check with Mika - "Haven't Seen It Yet"

In this episode of CONNECTED with Mika we’re discussing:   Looking beyond your current circumstances, knowing everything changes and that relief is just beyond the horizon of another day and that maybe you just "Haven't Seen It Yet"!  These times of uncertainty are difficult for even the most optimistic of people. It's times like these that holding on to hope and believing you'll make it through these circumstances often requires deliberate thinking, a choice in what and who we will focus on. We all need motivation and encouragement, the question is where do we go when we feel empty, how do we pull our selves up when no one is there to cheer you on or speak words of affirmation and encouragement over you? For me, it's deliberately immersing my mind, heart, and soul into music that gives, life and hope. We all love a good ending to a dramatic movie that has us sitting on the edge of our seats and for me, the victory is hearing an anthem of overcoming, surviving and moving beyond adversity. No matter where you are in your journey of life press pause with what you are doing and then press play on our link to Danny Gokey's "Haven't Seen It Yet" and allow yourself to believe hope and change is just ahead.   Danny Gokey - Haven't Seen It Yet (Official Video)   Be sure to follow our Podcast By signing up at connectedwithmika.com and receive our monthly newsletter to learn what hot topics we will be discussing and the featured guest we have scheduled. #24 - Interview with Haley D. Greer: Navigating Through the Ins and Outs of Special Needs Trust Planning (pt.2)

In this episode of CONNECTED with Mika: Navigating Through the Ins and Outs of Special Needs Trust Planning – (Part Two) Don’t let what you don’t know about special needs trusts, derail your loved one’s financial future. In this two-part series, Mika speaks with Haley D. Greer, J.D., The Arc of Texas’s Director of The Master Pooled Trust. In the first episode we discuss why a person with disabilities will most likely need a Special Needs Trust, how many types of trust are there and which one to use. Founded in 1950 by a group of parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The Arc of Texas has been instrumental in the creation of virtually every program, service, right, and benefit that is now available to more than half a million Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today, The Arc of Texas continues to advocate for the human rights and self-determination of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in all aspects of society. One of the services The Arc of Texas offers is a Master Pooled Trust. A Mastered Pooled Trust is a pooled special needs trust managed by The Arc of Texas with approval from the Social Security Administration and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The goal of the Master Pooled Trust is to provide financial security to all people with disabilities, and thus a higher quality of life, knowing that their public benefits are safeguarded. The Master Pooled Trust was designed with lower fees and low minimum deposits. The low fees for establishing and maintaining a sub-account are attractive to families and beneficiaries, compared to a traditional bank trust. There are low minimum and no maximum limits on an account with the Master Pooled Trust. The Arc of Texas also knows and understands the issues families with disabilities face so we make accessing the money an easy process. Contact Information: Haley D.
