The Oblong Boys: Better than the Beatles (and Way More Zolo)

"Life is Meaningless," said The Oblong Boys, Austin's weirdest and most zolo band ever. In this episode, I talked to Oblong A, Mr. E, Pat A. Physics, and Lockemup about how The Oblong Boys were spawned, the concepts behind their unique brand of music and performance, and their late night guerrilla escapades. Think DEVO meets the Residents meets Frank Zappa in a hypercolor Yellow Magic Orchestra mega blender full of Sparks. Here's to The Oblong Boys!
