    Abide in the Word

Are you reading God’s Word—or is God’s Word actually changing you? In this message from John 15, we discover what it really means to abide in the Word. Jesus connects abiding in Him with allowing His Word to abide in us—and the result is a life that bears fruit and brings glory to God. But abiding in the Word is more than simply owning a Bible, attending church, or knowing more Scripture. It means making Jesus and His truth the foundation of our lives. In this message, we explore three habits that help us abide in the Word: commit to it, grow in it, and obey it. Because the goal isn’t simply to know more about the Bible. The goal is to know Jesus more deeply and allow His Word to change the way we live.

The Spiritual Battle to Drawn Us Away

What if the biggest battle in your spiritual life isn’t about getting you to walk away from Jesus—but simply getting you to stop abiding in Him? In this message from John 15 and Genesis 3, we explore the spiritual battle that seeks to pull us away from the Vine. Through deception, distraction, and desire, the enemy works to shift our focus from God’s truth and goodness to everything else competing for our attention. Jesus calls us to something different: Abide. Remain. Stay connected. Discover how to recognize the things pulling you away from Christ and why the answer isn’t simply trying harder—it’s staying connected to the One who gives us life and produces the fruit He created us to bear.

Surrendering to the Source of Life

What if the reason you feel spiritually exhausted is because you were never meant to be the source of your own strength? In this message from John 15, we’re reminded that Jesus is the true vine, we are the branches, and He is the source of life. When we try to find fulfillment in power, possessions, pleasure, relationships, or our own strength, we eventually run dry. But when we abide in Christ—staying connected, resting in Him, and surrendering control—He promises to produce fruit in our lives. Discover what it really means to surrender to the Source of Life and trust Jesus to do the work only He can do.

    Abide

What does it really mean to abide in Christ? In the opening message of our Abide series, James Velasquez, Jr. takes us to John 15 and explores what it means to remain deeply connected to Jesus—the true vine. Discover what abiding looks like, why it matters, and how staying connected to Christ produces lasting fruit in our lives. Through Jesus’ “I AM” statements and the picture of the vine and branches, we’re reminded that He isn’t just part of our lives—He is our source of life. Tune in and be challenged to move from simply knowing about Jesus to truly remaining in Him.

    Why Church?

What exactly is the church—and why does it matter? Is it just a building we go to on Sundays, or is there something much bigger happening? In this message, we take a closer look at what Jesus meant when He said, “I will build my church,” and discover how we are called to be God’s people, live in Jesus’ power, join His mission, and worship Him together.
