    #382 #SteveLukather: #TOTO Guitarist & Session Legend - The Interview (REMASTERED)

Get ready for an absolute masterclass in rock history on this episode of Rock of Nations as we unleash the freshly remastered interview with the legendary Steve Lukather! You know him as the founding guitar force behind Toto smash hits like "Africa," "Rosanna," and "Hold the Line," as well as the lead vocalist and writer behind anthems like "I'll Be Over You" and "I Won't Hold You Back"—but Luke is also the most prolific session guitarist in history, boasting over 1,500 credits. In this newly polished, pristine director’s cut of our 2021 interview where Luke promoted his solo album “I Found the Sun Again – we dive deep into his unbelievable resume: laying down all the iconic rhythm guitars and bass on Michael Jackson’s "Beat It" (plus "Human Nature" and "The Girl Is Mine"), scorching the solo on Olivia Newton-John's "Physical," blistering through Lionel Richie's "Running With the Night," ripping solos on Don Henley’s "Dirty Laundry," and rocking with Cher ("If I Could Turn Back Time"), Stevie Nicks ("Stand Back"), Chicago ("Hard to Say I'm Sorry"), and Michael McDonald ("I Keep Forgettin'"). From co-writing Grammy-winning smashes like George Benson's "Turn Your Love Around" and The Tubes' "Talk To Ya Later" to wild session stories with Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick, Earth, Wind & Fire, Roger Waters, and Spinal Tap—this remastered audio brings every story and signature riff to life like never before.
