    This week on The Finger Guns Podcast it's our final show of the year and as is tradition, we talk about our games of the year and just how great the year has been as a whole. There's plenty of joy here, and it's a stark reminder that underneath the rough year the industry has had as a whole, the games that came out were still pushing video games forward, and how amazing they continue to be. In Game of the Week, Josh has been checking out cult favourite Slitterhead, Kat has been carrying her game of the year I Am Future, Miles has been jumping between Silent Hill 2, Marvel Rivals, Stronghold Remastered whilst Rossko has been completing Indy and generally playing a bunch of random things including Ale and Tale Tavern and also the best 6/10 of all time, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.     This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Kat and Miles are joined once again by the utterly divine Toby Andersen to talk everything The Game Awards and talk some hype about Day of the Devs. In Game of the Week Kat has been checking out The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt after getting rather excited about Ciri at The Game Awards, Miles has been playing Life is Strange: Double Exposure (it didn't go well) along with Marvel Rivals (being a healer and helping his team win), Tobes has been rocking Mistwalker's Fantasian whilst Rossko has been continuing his jaunt through Indiana Jones on PC.     This week on the pod - the podcast we weren't going to do but hey! Here we are, gosh aren't you lucky - Rossko and Kat have a date night talking all about video game news. Erm, there isn't much so we end up talking what trailers we may expect to see at The Game Awards this year and debate if Keighley now has enough pull to get a GTA VI trailer for the show.. Talking of GTA, Kat and Rossko debate their GTA VI wishlists and why publishers are scared to announce dates for their games because they don't want GTA to trample on them. But why? We debate having faith in your product against fighting against the Goliaths. In Game of the Week Kat has been playing a fair bit of Among Us and jumping back into her game of the year I Am Future whilst Rossko has cracking whips in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and the cosy yet overwhelming Overthrown, currently in early access.
