    Our State of Play June 2026 Reaction!

    This week The Finger Guns Podcast get together to talk everything from Sony's June 2026 State of Play! Our favourite game reveals, plenty of release date talk (best take some time off in September, folks..) and much more, including whether or not we're actually excited for God of War Laufey and why Stuntman Hollywood got the biggest cheer from us.  Elsewhere in Game of the Week Kat and Josh have been checking out 'Rocket League but pottery', otherwise known as Kiln, Josh also shares his thoughts on 007 First Light and the handmade wonder of Mashina, whilst Miles has been finishing off 007 and Mixtape. Rossko has played very little other than the Tac Sim missions in 007 First Light. Sorry yeah, we're still talking about Bond. A lot. Oh and we get distracted talking about reviews.     In Game of the Week Josh talks Saros - in honour of the hot weather, obviously - along with the joys of LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight, Kat shares her time with the RPG that's not an RPG Welcome to ParadiZe, whilst Miles and Rossko get really rather excited about the long awaited 007 First Light from IO Interactive. This week we get into the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and if we can be bothered to get all excited about a Call of Duty again. Price is back! Ghost is back! We'll see. We also get into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt getting a brand new DLC expansion ten years later, we talk the rather horrifying price increase of the Steam Deck and Rossko gets all sad about the closure of Destiny 2.     WE'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!! OH YES. After a fairly long hiatus The Finger Guns Podcast has risen once again to talk all things video games and probably other things! We've been gone for a time and we've really missed getting together and venting about the weeks news and what games we've been playing, and it's SO good to finally be back doing what we do best! We're sorry it's taken so long, but we're not going anywhere now so rest assured it will never *ever* be that long again. Why were we gone so long? That's a story for another day, just know everything is awesome, we're back to our best and the podcast will thrive once again! So, what's going on this week? Well, let's get into it; In Game of the Week Miles has been getting his rhythm on in the fantastic Dead As Disco, Josh shares his latest journey in Cyberpunk 2077 and Kat finally shares the love for Dispatch and well, has quite the confession to make which you won't want to miss. Oh, and Rossko has been playing Fortnite! Who knew?! And Adorable Adventures of course.... We also bring in two brand new segments and also get into the news of course including Xbox being all good stuff again, a shout out to Capcom for the incredible success of Pragmata and one hell of a segment opener with absolutely nobody giving a f*** about Starfox!
