In the Arena: The Debates and Lectures of William Lane Craig

William Lane Craig’s ability to defend the faith is amazing, and to have all this here for free is quite the treat.

What a great podcast! I get to Listen to all of the best arguments against Christianity; And the best arguments for Christianity. Dr Craig’s appeal to 1 Corinthians 15:3-11 to prove a historical Jesus seems quite impotent after reading ‘On the Historicity of Jesus’ by Dr. Carrier. The Greek word for resurrection is not used in the earliest “received creed” by St. Paul. So…no resurrection required. Maybe it’s time to open our minds to the possibility that we are in a cult in the same way we think about Islam, Hinduism, etc…

Craig is the most articulate and compelling Christian apologist of our century. Listen to the fantastic debate on the resurrection with Hector Avalos for a perfect illustration of Craig’s motivation to participate in these debates: he’s not in to compete with his opponent, but to win souls to the Christian faith. THE SOUND GUY should be fired immediately. There is no reason that the intro and outro should be twice the volume as the content. The sound guy obviously doesn’t even check his work and shows no concern for the damage he is doing to people’s hearing. You are surely losing listeners who value their hearing because of the ignorance of someone who has no skills needed for that position. Still 5 stars because Craig gets 100 stars but minus 95 stars for hiring such an ignorant failure to do the sound.
