    The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Chicago White Sox 8-6 thanks to some big bats coming alive!     Phillies get homers from Brandon Marsh and Adolis Garcia as they were on their way to scoring 8 runs in a ball game for the first time since their 11-9 win over the Pirates on May 15th.     Phillies actually ran the left-handed starter Anthony Kay out after just 4 innings taking him for six runs on seven hits and two long balls.     Phillies did allow things to get tied up at 6 later in the ball game but they broke out of it in the bottom of the seventh inning taking, with a sac fly RBI to left field by Edmundo Sosa scoring Kyle Schwarber with a belly flop head first slide across home plate to take the lead and then tacking on another one on a wild pitch by SirAnthony Dominguez now of the White Sox!   Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS - PLAYER OF THE GAME     Segment 2: Your Comments!     PHILLIES POSTCAST: Philadelphia Phillies get 6-4 VICTORY, to SWEEP the San Diego Padres AGAIN!!!

    For the second time in as many series, the Philadelphia Phillies SWEPT the San Diego Padres, thanks to their 6-4 win Thursday afternoon.   The Phillies runs came on a Bryson Stott RBI single in the 4th. Then in the 5th, Adolis Garcia smacked his 5th homer of the season and first since May 6th, 24 games ago. Later in the 5th, Padres reliever Yuki Matsui threw the ball away trying to pick off Trea Turner at first with Justin Crawford on third. Matsui’s throw went up the right field line allowing Craford to trot home from third.     After the Padres FINALLY got to Zack Wheeler in the 7th inning with a two-run homer by Manny Machado, the Phillies answered in the bottom of the 7th with a three-run frame. Trea Turner recorded RBI singles and Brandon Marsh plated Turner on a fielder's choice.     Wheeler’s day was done after seven innings of two-run baseball. Wheeler threw 104 pitches allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out eight.     Cristopher Sanchez sees his Scoreless innings streak snapped at 50.2ip in the Philadelphia Phillies' 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres.     Sanchez, per usual was cruising though his start, but with two outs in the 7th, he allowed a double to Ty France, followed by a streak-snapping RBI single by Jackson Merrill. Sanchez received an extended standing ovation from the South Philly faithful as he became the 5th pitcher in the history of the MLB to record at least 50-straight scoreless innings.     Sanchez's outing was backed by solo homers from J.T.     Bryce Harper's two-run homer, Brandon Marsh's four-hit night lead the bats, while Aaron Nola and Johan Duran lead the arms in the Phillies 3-2 win over the Padres.   Aaron Nola’s night was done after five innings allowing two runs on four hits while striking out 8. The only costly mistake he made was leaving a 1-2 knuckle curve up a little too much to Gavin Sheets with a man on and sheets put it in the right field stands for a two-run homer. Nola threw 95 pitches over his outing with   The Phillies picked Nola up in the 4th inning, when Bryce Harper smacked a two-run homer of his own to left/center field to even the score at 2-2.
