Brad has spent nearly three decades building an incredibly unconventional career as a director, producer, actor, author, athlete, coach, and entrepreneur—and somehow managed to keep adding new chapters along the way. With more than 30 feature-film and television producing credits and over a dozen films directed, Brad's work has taken him around the world. But filmmaking is only part of his story. He's also a former college athlete and law student, professional football player, wrestling champion, MMA fighter, coach, and former owner and Director of Operations for a minor league football team. And then there's Jack Black. A last-minute change to All's Faire In Love unexpectedly brought Brad into the world of film production, where he was tasked with helping coordinate football scenes, stadiums, players, cheerleaders, equipment, and even coaching actors to convincingly portray NCAA athletes. That opportunity would help change the direction of his career. From working on movies like Real Steel, American Virgin, and Have a Little Faith, to launching Lyon Productions and producing films such as Minor League, Little Creeps, Monsters on Main Street, Don't Wait Til Dawn, and Thursday the 12th, Brad has experienced virtually every side of independent filmmaking. But his journey hasn't been without heartbreak. The loss of both of his parents during the production of Thursday the 12th, followed by the challenges of keeping his filmmaking career alive, led Brad through a series of major personal and professional changes. Then, just when filmmaking was calling again, football came back into his life. During the COVID era, Brad unexpectedly returned to the field after nearly eleven years away, playing for multiple teams and leagues while also taking on coaching responsibilities—including a stint in the USFL. Wrestling eventually returned as well, leading him to coach at Florida Gulf Coast University. It's an incredible story about following your passions, reinventing yourself, surviving setbacks, and refusing to be defined by a single career.
