    Maxwell Caulfield guest stars on General Hospital this week as Apollo, the Manhattan gallery owner at the center of the Phoebe adoption mystery, and his scenes with Ava and Alexis are what Shannon and Amanda are most fired up about. Caulfield, best known as Michael Carrington in Grease 2, turns up at the Hammet Gallery with a photo that connects Ethan Lovett directly to Phoebe's birth mother, Delilah, and the question of whether Ethan is Phoebe's father is now front and center. The rest of the week: Rocco sent a video home using a childhood code phrase to tell Lulu he went with Britt by choice, Sonny and Laura laid out a plan to turn Pascal against Sidwell, and Dante covered for Lulu about the fake passport. Kristina got accepted to UCLA medical school and immediately wasn't sure she wanted to go. Curtis is facing felony assault charges, a young patient's liver transplant is on hold, Willow told Chase she doesn't want to be married to Drew, and Brook Lynn caught them through the window.     Nina & Willow Part 1 (2018-2019)

    This week we went all the way back to where Nina Reeves and Willow Tait first crossed paths, because if you think their relationship is complicated now, wait until you hear how it started. We are covering 2018 and 2019, from Willow flagging Charlotte Cassadine's bullying of her classmate Aiden Spencer, to Nina engineering Willow's firing from Port Charles Elementary, to the moment at the Nurses' Ball where a fight between them put information directly into Shiloh's hands that Willow had been desperately trying to keep from him. By the end of 2019 Nina had lost the daughter she thought she had found in Sasha Gilmore, and Willow was sitting in a diner quietly wishing she could be a mother to a little boy who turned out to be her biological nephew.     Belligerent Toad

    Drew was regaining movement and got to the landline. He almost made it. Nina used his dose on Brennan instead of Valentin, Cullum worked his way through every contact he had, and Dante found out how much had been kept from him about his son. This week we cover Sonny pulling a gun on Ric at the gallery and how that resolved, Drew's near-escape and what happened when Willow walked in, Willow trying to take control at Wyndemere and Sidwell shutting that down fast, Cullum's path through the hospital and straight to Carly's door, Dante confronting Lulu and then Nathan at his office, the boathouse conversation between Dante and Rocco, Lulu and Britt in the same room going nowhere, Ethan watching Brook Lynn and Chase with baby Phoebe from across the restaurant and the question he asked after Kristina held her, Cassius opening up to Josslyn more than he has to anyone, Curtis punching Isaiah and what Isaiah said that made it happen, and Jordan taking the bandage off. Port Charles Pipeline this week: Cheri's theory that Ethan was protecting Delilah from a dangerous situation, Charis pushing back on who caused the Jordan and Curtis crash, and a reminder that the SNAP Out Hunger event with Rena Sofer and Vanessa Marcil is August 22nd in Pittsburgh.     General Hospital Fan Spotlight - Emily & Renee

    This week's Port Charles 411 Fan Spotlight features Emily and Renee, a mother and daughter who have been watching General Hospital together for decades, across two states and a lot of texts about the show. Renee got started in the seventies, introduced to GH by her grandmother over after-school snacks. Emily came to the show through her mom and has been watching since she was little. She found Pier 54 while looking into starting a mother-daughter GH podcast of her own, discovered Shannon and Amanda had already built one, and has been listening ever since. Her Fan Spotlight entry dates back to June 2023, which makes this one nearly three years in the making. The conversation covers favorite couples, GH history going back to the Luke and Laura era, the moments that hit hardest, and plenty of current storyline speculation from all four of them.     Real Safe Grandma

    Jack Brennan burst into Carly's bedroom and found Valentin Cassadine stepping out from hiding with a gun on him. Valentin introduced himself as her attorney. Cullum, meanwhile, declared Brennan incompetent and made clear he was now in charge. Joss spent the week locked below Wyndemere after Nathan choked her unconscious in her apartment. By Thursday, he told her everything: his name is Cassius Faison, Nathan's twin. Joss figured out pretty quickly why he was telling her all of this. Ric asked Elizabeth to go away with him. She said yes. Laura called Ric to her office and tried to find out whether he had truly changed. Nathan told Lulu it was not if Cullum found out Rocco shot him, it was when, and when he did he would kill him. Lulu did not move Rocco. Dante and Liz pieced together the blood on the gun was not Cullum's. Rocco and Danny are brothers. Of course Jason would protect him. At Willow's house, Nina hid a syringe under Wiley's toy truck before answering the door for Jack, Valentin stepped out with a gun, and it ended with Jack on the floor. Ethan heard Delilah Wilson's name for the first time at Tracy's, went to the pier, pulled out a polaroid, and talked to it. Then Sonny pulled a gun on Ric at Ava's gallery. Also this week: Michael James Scott performed at the Savoy, Brook Lynn and Chase talked adoption, Molly's book is being published, and the Jordan hit-and-run investigation keeps grinding. A shout out to Louise for the Jonathan Jackson and Claire show link, June 6 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
