The Story of Rock and Roll: S9E28

9E28 went out live from the TSORR Myoli Beach studio on 9 July 2026.  It's quite a diverse show, something here for everybody. One of those shows where I just had too much music and not enough time. Rock and Metal Time Machine had far too many interesting things happening for me to squeeze into an hour.  For the next few weeks in The Diabolical Challenge, we'll look at final albums made by legendary bands, and we kicked it off this week with:  Black Sabbath - 13Van Halen - Different Kind of TruthRush - Clockwork AngelsMotörhead - Bad MagicTwo-thirds of the way through the show I heard of the sad passing of Annette McClellan, who was a drummer for No Friends Of Harry. Many listeners to the show will know the band and will have seen them live. We paid our respects to Annette, who was an amazing drummer, and listened to  'A Long Way Home'.  RIP Annette, thank you for the music.    On a personal note, I closed the show with a tribute to Anita Sayer-Hickson, who passed away on 3 July. My deepest condolences to her sister Penny.    Thanks as always for the support.  Find TSORR on Facebook and X @TSORR Artists Featured: Bulletboys, Airbourne, Beautiful Creatures, The Pretty Reckless, Burn Halo, Rory Gallagher, Ace Frehley, Black label Society, Metallica, The Stranglers, Stiff Little Fingers, Chris Cornell, Dire Straits, Dan Patlansky, Cold Chisel, Tool, The Who, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Kid Rock, Dio, The Clash, Def Leppard, Dream Theatre, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Rush, Van Halen, Arapaho, No Friends of Harry, Dave Hause, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Arch Enemy, Motörhead, Conil The Story of Rock and Roll.  TSORR - Your one-stop shop for Rock

The Story of Rock and Roll: S9E27

S9E27 went out live from the TSORR Myoli Beach studio on 2 July 2026.  The show was dedicated to American rock and metal in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the USA this weekend, 4 July 2026.  American music changed my life; I am forever grateful for every amazing, in some cases life-changing, USA band I ever heard.   The Diabolical Challenge featured four bands with the bass, drums, lead singer, keyboards, and guitarist format: Rainbow, Bon Jovi, Journey, and Great White.  The Rock and Metal Time Machine had some notable events occurring this week, especially on the 3rd of July. Some amazing coincidences in the 27 Club with Brian Jones and Jim Morrison and Ziggy Stardust.  It seems 3 July is quite the day to die. I had an interesting interview with Khazimula and we got a sneak preview of 'On a Dream, which is available tomorrow morning.  Check it out, I hope to hear it played at a World Cup one day.  Thanks as always for the support.  Find TSORR on Facebook and X @TSORR Artists Featured:  The Pretty Reckless, Motörhead, Bad Company, Phil Rudd, Krokus, Five Finger Death Punch, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Marilyn Manson, Night Ranger, Jimmy Barnes, Kid Rock, Slade, KISS, Rush, Alice in Chains, David Bowie, David Bowie, The Stranglers, Megadeth, Interview - Khazimula, Khazimula, Helloween, The Pretty Reckless, Korn, Butch Walker, The Doors, Rainbow, Journey, Bon Jovi, Great White, John Mellencamp, Pantera, Machine Head, Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen The Story of Rock and Roll.  TSORR - Your one-stop shop for Rock
