Pastor Josh, I wanted to take a minute to tell you how much the Lakepointe podcast and the work you all put into making the weekly service available means to me and my family.
We’re not sitting in the room at Lakepointe on Sunday, but because of the podcast, the message is still making its way into our home.
Your sermons have personally challenged me, encouraged me, and helped me grow closer to Christ. But what has become even more meaningful to me is looking around and realizing that my kids are hearing these messages too. They’re hearing the truth of the Gospel. They’re hearing what it means to follow Jesus. They’re hearing messages about faith, character, marriage, family, and living differently because of Christ.
As a dad, that means more to me than I can probably put into words (eyes sweating).
There are a lot of voices competing for our kids’ attention and shaping how they see the world. I’m incredibly grateful that your voice, and more importantly the truth you’re teaching from God’s Word, is one of the voices they are hearing.
I know producing and sharing the service every week takes work that most of us will never see. I just want you and the team to know that the work travels farther than you probably realize. It reaches families like mine. It reaches our dinner-table conversations. It reaches my kids.
Thank you for continuing to preach boldly, clearly, and with so much heart. You may never meet many of the people on the other side of that microphone, but the Lord is using your work in our home.
And for this dad, that is a pretty incredible gift.
