    Rachael Brookshire

Rachael is an incredible witness to the glory and goodness of the Lord. Although she did not grow up as a Christian, she found the Lord when she began to look at religion as a relationship. Her journey was a long process, but she found an incredible friend along the way who invited her to church events and youth group and showed her what a genuine relationship looked like; through this friendship, Rachael discovered the goodness of the Lord and she completely disregarded the idea that her faith was works-based and fear-driven. The two are still friends today! Rachel now attends church in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and their son, and she is learning that although letting go of control over her own life can be difficult, God works through situations that we might not ever be able to comprehend. Take a listen and hear how Rachael grew to know the Lord and where she is today!
